This causes strain in their relationship and eventual break-up: in order to protect his sister The Arrow asks Roy to break up with Thea. Thea refuses to accept the break up, however in order to break it off with her, Roy cheats on her with some girl. Both take the break up badly.
Although Roy doesn't want to, he seems to listen to Oliver and when he later hurts a guest while working at Verdant, Roy tries to end things with Thea. She doesn't believe him and gets called away, so Roy cheats on her with another waiter.
On Earth-Prime, Thea's Earth-1 memories were restored after her brother's sacrifice to recreate the multiverse. In the new timeline, she became engaged to Roy and attended Oliver's funeral, where Thea met her step-sister, Emiko.
Thea blames herself for letting her brother join the League. Roy breaks up with her when he leaves Starling City after faking his death, hoping that Thea can make a life of her own without him. He also leaves her his red costume which she wears to become a vigilante herself as his successor.
This mindset ultimately drove him to turn himself in as the Arrow, and faking his death in prison absolving Oliver and proving the Arrow is dead, to start a new life elsewhere. Roy, also wanting the best for Thea not wanting her to live a life on the run, ends his relationship with her.
According to Arrowverse producer Mark Guggenheim, she was written out of the show due to a decision made by the actress [via EW]. Apparently, season 6 was the end of Willa Holland's Arrow contract. Guggenheim said that Holland told them at the end of season 4 that she wanted more time for herself.
In 2040, he returned to Star City with William Clayton to assist the Canaries. On Earth-Prime, after the Crisis ended, Roy attended Oliver's funeral. He proposed to Thea and was ready to start a life with her, which she happily accepted on the condition he would never leave like he did again.
Just when he had it all with Keeley, he broke up with her because loving her required too much from him when he wasn't ready to be that vulnerable. It was a decision he quickly regretted. Roy spends the season becoming a better man, one who cares about other people.
During the "Heroes in Crisis" storyline, Roy, alongside Wally West and various other heroes, was found deceased in the superhero rehabilitation facility known as Sanctuary. It was later revealed that Roy was accidentally killed by Wally West in a Speed Force explosion due to a Sanctuary malfunction.
After the events of Crisis, in the new Earth-Prime, Laurel is said to have married Tommy Merlyn, who survived the events of the first season in this new universe, although Laurel herself still later died.
Oliver rejects her, due to his returned feelings for Sara, Laurel not feeling well and likely since Laurel already put the kibosh on their relationship. Laurel is angry, but it turns out to be more a reaction to feeling lost than a true desire to have a relationship with Oliver again.
Thea may be all forgiving of Oliver's deception, but she can't quite let go of the fact that Malcolm knew Oliver was the Arrow and tried to push her away from Oliver.
Roy Harper, played by Colton Haynes, is introduced as a troubled guy who's also willing to help out people in need. He becomes Thea Queen's boyfriend and a sidekick to Arrow before discovering Oliver's identity. He's injected with mirakuru but is cured with it at the end of the second season.
In season three, Sara is killed on a rooftop with three arrows to the chest. Some time later, it is revealed that Thea Queen killed Sara after being drugged by her father Malcolm Merlyn/Dark Archer as part of a plot to pit Oliver against Ra's al Ghul.
He's also the one to give her the news about Roy's attack, and subsequent death. Even though the death was a fake, Thea doesn't have time to find out, as she's attacked by Ra's al Ghul. She fights him but is defeated, and Ra's stabs her and leaves her dying in a pool of blood.
Later, when she reconnected with Oliver in season 8, she also had a new scar on her cheek which she later revealed to Oliver were given to her by Athena, the leader of the Thanatos Guild.
When Thea was a child she fell off her horse and was hospitalized. Thea (it is insinuated) idolized Oliver as a child. They used to be close and, according to Oliver, he used to chase after her when she was younger, thus giving her the nickname, "Speedy".
Later, Keeley became romantically involved with Jack, the woman whose company funded Keeley's new PR firm. After Jamie and Keeley's sex tape leaked online, Keeley refused to read a public apology drafted by Jack's lawyers, leading them to break up.
The Big Picture. In Ted Lasso, Rebecca's journey to happiness focuses on personal growth before she is ready to find love. During the team's trip to Amsterdam, Rebecca experiences a rom-com moment with Matthijs. Rebecca and Ted's separate romantic arcs culminate in Rebecca finding her fairy-tale ending with Matthijs.
Earlier in her life, Cheshire fell in love with the former Teen Titan named Roy Harper when he was working undercover. Their relationship produced a daughter, Lian, who was believed to have been killed during an attack on Roy's hometown of Star City.
Against Slade's wishes, Oliver chose Sara, allowing Ivo to execute Shado, a decision that caused Slade so much grief that he swore vengeance on the man who was once his ally. Slade turned on his friends, taking Ivo's ship, crew and prisoners. He captured Sara Lance, luring Oliver to the ship.
Colton Haynes, who portrayed Roy Harper, a.k.a. Arsenal on Arrow, reveals his last departure after season 7 from the Arrowverse drama was because of a cast member he couldn't stand.
