Why wasn't Harry petrified when he looked at the Basilisk?
The book says he was OK because he saw the basilisk's eyes through Nearly Headless Nick.Why was Harry not affected by the Basilisk?
In both the book and the movie, there wasn't enough time for the venom to reach Harry's heart, Fawkes heals him before that. In the book, Fawkes flies to Harry instantly, it doesn't lose anytime. Fawkes heals Harry before Harry stabs the diary. In fact it is Fawkes who brings the diary to Harry.Why Harry didn t get petrified?
