How did Doc Holliday managed to live with tuberculosis for 14 years from 1873 to 1887 without any antibiotics? Tuberculosis as it existed in his time wasn't always quickly fatal. It's unusual that he lived that long with it but some people recovered from it so not every case of it followed the same course.
In his time in Purgatory, Doc has gone to hell and back for the Earp sisters, at one point even losing his immortality. He ended up selling his soul and becoming a vampire, but that turn of events helped him save Wynonna from Bulshar's poison.
When Doc declares that he should "hate" Johnny Ringo because he reminds him too much of himself, Wyatt Earp tries to assuage the younger gunsel by explaining that Doc's drunk and not in command of his faculties.

In the book Wyatt Earp: Frontier Marshal, author Stuart Lake wrote that Wyatt said that Morgan, before dying, whispered to Wyatt, "I can't see a damned thing." Wyatt said that they had promised each other to report visions of the next world when at the point of death.
John Peters Ringo (May 3, 1850 – July 13, 1882), known as Johnny Ringo, was an American Old West outlaw loosely associated with the Cochise County Cowboys in frontier boomtown Tombstone, Arizona Territory. He took part in the Mason County War in Texas during which he committed his first murder.
Shortly after starting his dental practice, Doc Holliday discovered that he had contracted tuberculosis – most likely from his mother before she died. His adopted Mexican brother was also diagnosed with the disease and later died from it, so he may have contracted it from him as well.
Earp, who had no children, was the last surviving participant of the OK Corral gunfight. In his later years, he'd consulted on Hollywood westerns and gotten to know various actors and directors. His funeral was attended by such celebrities as Western film star Tom Mix, who served as a pallbearer.
