For comparison, the previous installment, 2020's Godzilla vs. Kong, was noted for "intense sequences of creature violence/destruction and brief language."
Parents are strongly cautioned that these strong visual images could seriously disturb children under eight. The creature Kong himself is very scary, with giant teeth, a large gaping mouth, a frightening roar and a threatening manner.
Parents need to know that King Kong has many violent scenes that could be scary for younger viewers, as well as plenty of action. Specifically, humans are attacked on the island by giant bugs, bats, and dinosaurs in sustained, pounding action scenes.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire lives up to its PG-13 billing, as there are plenty of creature battles and non-stop action throughout the film. There are certainly elements in the film that may be too frightening for children ages 6 and under.

Violence & Scariness. The violence is graphic and brutal, and the body count is incredibly high. Kong rips apart and causes several helicopters to crash into each other and into a river, instantly killing soldiers and civilians. He stomps on people, casually throws them, eats them, and dismembers them.

Although the movie doesn't have much blood and gore, it does have violent and scary scenes, frightening monsters, emotionally intense moments and scenes that show children in danger. Godzilla is therefore not recommended for children under 12 years.
Kong SEX/NUDITY 1. – A man kisses a woman on the cheek in excitement and apologizes. A teen boy says, “I really don't understand women.” ► Kong wakes up and walks into water and we see him scratch his fur-covered buttock.

This being said, he falls in love with her not only because of her beauty, but because of her courage and compassion. In this portrayal, she is described as having a bit more edge, as she works for her survival, takes more chances, and even forms a special relationship with Kong.
But Jurassic Park also explores the impact of humans on the earth, questioning the human drive for dominance over the planet and nature. Because of these complex ideas and the many scary scenes, this is not a movie for younger children.
The special effects for the day were spectacular and due to some fine acting by Fay Wray, Bruce Cabot and Robert Armstrong, this film still holds up pretty well. Its status as a classic is well deserved. This film is recommended for ages twelve and up.

Not appropriate for families with traditional values. I'd explain, but I'm concerned that I might violate community guidelines. Action sequences were good, but I regret taking my 12 year old daughter to see it. I wish somebody told me.
Kong didn't bow before Godzilla like the other Titans did in King of the Monsters, and more than that, Kong is inherently a threat to Godzilla's kingship. Add that to the fact that Godzilla can feel Kong's every move with his planet-scoping power, and the ultimate battle between the two was completely unavoidable.
Violence & Scariness. Lots of action and sci-fi violence. Big, over-the-top clashes between Godzilla and King Kong, including explosions and Godzilla's nuclear blasts, cause mass destruction in a large city. Gory moments involving the titans (King Kong, Godzilla, Mechagodzilla) tearing apart monsters or crushing humans ...
A few mild language and some exclamations points. About 4 scatological terms, and 4 mild obscenities. Name-calling (maniac, crazy, crackpot and cuckoo.)
In addition to the violent scenes and scary visual images mentioned above, Godzilla Minus One has some scenes that could scare or disturb children aged 5-8 years. For example, one time Noriko and Shikishima are fleeing Godzilla. Noriko pushes Shikishima into an alley and takes the full blast herself.
There's some mild swearing ("hell," "damn," and a few uses of "s--t"), a few kisses, and social drinking. Though the first half of the film takes place in Japan, action is driven by White men. Tokenized but positive characters include a Japanese doctor and his White female colleague.
