Ahsoka Tano, a key character in the Star Wars universe, is noticeably absent in the original trilogy, with the real-life reason being that she hadn't been created yet for the Clone Wars series.
It easily beggars the question of what she was doing during the events of the original trilogy, and why she never appeared onscreen. The short answer is the practical one: she hadn't been created when the first three films hit screens. Still, yet it leaves much of her time in a bit of a haze.
Ahsoka doesn't make an appearance in any of the live-action Star Wars prequels – she's absent from The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones because they're set too early on the Star Wars timeline, and, while Revenge of the Sith is happening, she's busy elsewhere.

Despite being absent from The Rise of Skywalker, Ezra's experience as a Jedi who resisted the dark side could have been useful in navigating Palpatine's ploys. His exclusion from the Jedi voices scene suggests he may be alive during that time.

But Ahsoka finally meets Darth Vader face-to-face in the Season 2 finale. In the two-part episode, “Twilight of the Apprentice,” Ahsoka accompanies Kanan and Ezra on a journey to Malachor.
