Named for a legendary Mon Calamari commander from the early days of the Rebel Alliance, the Raddus served as Leia Organa's mobile headquarters and flagship of the ragtag Resistance task force fleeing D'Qar. The MC85 Star Cruiser's experimental deflector shields could withstand massive damage before failing.
It was in the drydock aboard the Profundity undergoing those repairs when the rebel fleet was forced to scramble to Scarif. Leia had boarded the corvette with the intention of traveling to Tatooine to meet with the exiled Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, the battle breaking out before she could leave.
The Raddus, formerly known as the Dawn of Tranquility, was an MC85 Star Cruiser that served as the flagship of General Leia Organa. It was used by the Resistance during its war against the First Order.
Both Bail Organa and his adopted daughter Leia used this Alderaanian starship on public missions for the Senate and secret ones for the Alliance. Leia became famous for mercy missions undertaken aboard the Tantive IV, but the Empire suspected her altruistic acts were cover for treasonous activities.
But, in one odd moment, Rogue One ends with a Leia Organa cameo that feels a little off. The filmmakers CGI-pasted '80s-era Carrie Fisher on a double's face, and the results are what you'd expect: A weird, glossy sheen on Leia's face, and buggy eyes that look taken from a poorly-rendered video game cutscene.

Why does Vader not recognize Leia?
Leia's Force abilities and her lack of awareness of her true identity also contributed to Vader's inability to sense their familial connection. Vader's denial of Anakin Skywalker's legacy and his fear of getting hurt again prevented him from realizing the truth about his children until later in the original trilogy.

Leia kept Han's medal as a treasured memento of her dead husband. She held it before reaching out to her son, perhaps somehow connecting to Ben and Han's presence in the not-so-living Force.
Poe was grateful to learn Leia had recovered – but rather than help Poe, Leia stunned him with a blaster, ending his personal rebellion. Holdo gave her life to buy the Resistance transports time to escape, leaving Poe chastened by her sacrifice.
She reaches out her hand and uses the Force to pull herself back to the ship. Some people thought this whole scene was silly, but I don't think so. It shows that Leia is indeed like her father and brother in that she too can use the Force. It's really the only time we have seen her do something like that.
Which brings us to the question of the hour: Did Jabba the Hutt make unwanted sexual advances on Leia Organa? Absolutely. There is no doubt that Jabba pawed, fondled, pinched, prodded and slobbered on Princess Leia. He's the Dov Charney of a galaxy far, far away.
Tantive IV. This 416-foot-long (127-meter) ship, equipped with turbolasers and cannons, is dwarfed and overtaken by Darth Vader's Imperial Star Destroyer. But in a way the Tantive IV will always be untouchable: It's the very first ship seen in the very first Star Wars.
Many assume that Leia claimed her royal status as a Princess thanks to her mother's role as Queen of Naboo, but her title stems from her father, Bail Organa. When he married his wife, Queen Breha Organa, Bail earned the title of Prince Consort.
Why Did Rey Bury the Lightsabers? Since Luke and Leia, her masters, have become one with the Force, this is her way of honoring them by putting their weapons to rest. It also shows that Rey is burying the past while carrying it with her — both in her spirit and in the lightsaber she now wields.
Rather than making it out of the TIE fighter via ejection, Poe's jacket got caught in the cockpit, and he was forced to go down with the ship. He got ejected during the crash, landing far from the wreckage, unconscious like Finn. When he woke, he couldn't find Finn but eventually ran into Naka Iit, a Blarina scavenger.

For all we know, Leia specifically channeled her own life force into Ben, helping Rey along and sacrificing herself in the process. That may be why Leia finally dies and fades away at the moment Ben revives Rey and fades away himself. When Ben dies, any tether Leia still had to the living world went with him.
He was incredibly important, both to the galaxy as a whole and to Rey personally. While they may not have had romantic love for each other, they became close enough that Rey would miss him after his death. The kiss at the end of The Rise of Skywalker was a goodbye to a friend who would be dearly missed.
It seems that with his last ounce of strength, Ben gave what was remaining of his life energy to save Rey. This was his last sacrifice, effectively acting as redemption to return him to the light side of the Force. That is why his body vanished, as Jedi like Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi and Leia did before him.
Technology may not have been able to properly hide the true eyes of Vader at the time the original films were made, and the story called for that veil of secrecy the red lenses couldn't provide. But in Rebels and Rogue One, it works.
