Unlike most of Batman's enemies, Mr. Freeze is not inherently villainous. He is rather a nihilistic scientist driven by his determination to save his wife, Nora. However, he is willing to kill anyone in order to save her life, and is more than willing to destroy anyone for getting in his way.
Mr. Freeze is on a constant quest to bring back his beloved Nora, and he'll do whatever it takes to succeed. He wields a freeze gun and uses ice and cold to wreak havoc—mostly in Gotham and against Batman, but he'll turn his chill upon anyone standing in his way.
Trivia. Mr. Freeze is one of the few Batman villains whose true goal is not to kill Batman or dominate the world, his primary goal is to save his wife.
Mr. Freeze had to kidnap several women who matched his late wife's characteristics, in both mental and physical states, going as far as modifying their DNA to hers to experiment with the vial before reviving his wife. In the end, it worked, and his wife came back to life cured.
Summary. In the 1980s DC Comic Super Power #2, Gotham villain Mr. Freeze was given a significant power upgrade after he was hit was a blast of Omega Energy, the same thing that gives cosmic villain Darkseif his powers.
Freeze - Complex Bereavement Disorder. Mr. Freeze's mental illness stems from a very early age when his parents sent him off to boarding school in the hopes of curing his 'freezing hobbies'. There, he led a life of isolation until he met his wife, Nora.
Once the most human of Batman's rogues in the animated canon, Mr. Freeze now wrecked havoc and destruction amid a plot to encase Gotham City in ice. While seemingly ageless, cellular deterioration overtook his body, leaving Freeze little more than a head in a suit.
Subzero Physiology: The accident caused Freeze to become genetically altered with a bizarre condition that has irreversibly frozen him to the bone, transforming him into a cold-blooded mutate that must always be kept below zero.
Nora suffered from terminal illness and was cryogenically frozen until Freeze could develop a cure. Although she is eventually cured of her condition in the mainstream comic continuity, she becomes a supervillain herself in both depictions of the event; known as Mrs. Freeze and Lazara.
While there are numerous ways to damage him, our personal favorites involved using the electromagnet, electrocution in the water, using the Line Launcher from behind, a backside silent takedown, and finally, using the Disruptor against him.
Victor Fries is a cryogenics engineer who kidnapped citizens of Gotham and froze them to find a means of freezing his terminally ill wife Nora Fries so she could be brought back when a cure is found.
Victor Fries sought to save his terminally ill wife, Nora, through cryogenic preservation. An accident turned him into Mr. Freeze, leaving him dependent on a cryogenic suit to survive. This tragic backstory adds depth to his character and shapes his distinctive style.
The resulting explosion smashed him into his cryogenic freezing tanks and the accident soaked his entire body with the freezing solution and rendered him unable to survive outside of a sub-zero environment.
The original Earth-2 Batman ended up marrying his Catwoman and fathering Helena Wayne/Huntress. However, it took a while for the modern Bruce Wayne to accept his feelings for Selina, and the two officially revealed their identities in 2002's Batman: Hush before later getting engaged in the Rebirth era.

Even though Killer Croc was the one who mutilated him, Scarecrow solely blames Batman for his near-death experience and never takes into consideration that he willingly yet ignorantly went into Croc's lair in the first place, thus making him a deluded hypocrite. Boomstick and Mr Freeze just had the more advanced technology out of the two. Wiz: Mr Freeze has developed a cryogenic suit and a gun, and the suit has resistance to certain types of attacks. Boomstick, while Captain Cold only developed a gun and special types of attacks for that gun. which means he had few counters.
Freeze goggles are a pair of protective goggles used by Victor Fries as Mr. Freeze. The user who wears them has their eyes protected from the flashes and reflection given off the Freeze Gun.
