What to do if your Disney lightsaber stops working?
First, try to replace the batteries inside your lightsaber. When replacing your battery pack, be sure to press the battery pack down and twist it to lock it in. You'll also want to make sure that the red arrows are aligned, pointing to the Kyber Crystal.
The age recommendation for the experience is 5 and up. At least one guest in your party must be age 14 or up. Additional parts and customizations can be bought from Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. Custom lightsabers are not refundable or subject to discounts.
Do you get to keep your lightsaber at Disney World?
While you may bring the full lightsaber into the theme parks, please know you'll be asked to stow it away safely to enjoy any attractions so your plan to just bring the hilt is a good one.
However, when it comes to lightsabers, the standard park procedures will apply. You can certainly bring your full lightsaber with you on most rides, but just keep in mind that you will be asked to safely stow it away to enjoy the attraction.
What happens if you pull out the sword at Disneyland?
If you pull up the sword, you get nothing besides an awesome memory and picture opportunity. Some people theorize that a light in the castle window near "The Sword in the Stone" attraction indicates when someone can pull the sword out.
I also want you to know that you have the option to ship your lightsaber directly to your home from your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. Please note that there is an additional fee for this service. But hey, if you're staying at the resort, you can simply drop by the front desk of your hotel for some extra help.

Traveling through the galaxy as much as you have, you may find that your handbuilt lightsaber from Savi's Workshop requires some attention and a tune-up from time to time. While Savi does not offer an official warranty policy, he is happy to help try to repair pieces or parts that may be malfunctioning.
Connor, please keep in mind that Savi's lightsabers are not meant to be used as toys or costume props. My lightsaber's blade also has a slight wobble when I move it, simply because the materials are very fragile. If you were to tighten the bolts around the hilt, you could end up breaking the blade!

Typically, if the Lightsaber does not make a sound or light up, the batteries could be the cause. The second thing that I would check is to remove the Kyber Crystal and reinsert it. The Kyber Crystal is located below the Lightsaber switch. The third area is to remove the lightsaber blade itself and reinstall it.

Yes, the Gatherers at Savi's Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers will accept credits stored on Disney Gift Cards from our home planet. In fact, my son happened to use a Disney Gift Card when he visited Batuu recently to learn the mysterious craft of building a lightsaber under the tutelage of the Gatherers.
On one trip when I was around 7 or 8, I was chosen and lifted the sword! While Merlin currently doesn't visit the sword now (maybe he's busy keeping Mad Madam Mim at bay?), the sword has been known to have been lifted on occasion when the right one stops by.
