You don't have to be a furry to be in the Zootopia fandom, they can be mutually exclusive. Same with Lion King and Robin Hood. Being a furry isn't an automatic thing when you realize that you really like a movie with anthropomorphic animals, it acts like a fandom in that it's opt-in.
At least not necessarily, not by itself. Furries are people who are fans of anthropomorphic animals, of which Zootopia has nothing but, so naturally furries are going to be drawn to the film. But there is a lot more to like about the film, plenty of other reasons to be a fan of it.
