Even Aang, the avatar, and Zuko could only redirect lightning. It was incredibly powerful and only used for huge moments in the story. This is why when The Legend of Korra first debuted (and as new fans have rediscovered it on Netflix) many fans were confused why lightning bending seemed so commonplace.
Lightning bending is a rare technique that only the strongest Firebenders could master. Only Azula, Ozai and Iroh could use it. But the ability is much more common in the Legend of Korra.
The benders who used lightning redirection in either series all opposed the main antagonist: Iroh, Zuko, and Aang utilized lightning redirection in Avatar: The Last Airbender and all opposed Ozai, while Mako was the only one to redirect lightning in The Legend of Korra and opposed Amon.

There is a very good chance that Aang could blood bend in the avatar state, since the only way to stop blood bending is to blood bend the blood bender out.

The Legend of Korra often shows Korra's ability to take a hit, dust herself off, and keep on coming after her enemy. She's scrappy and knows how to roll with the punches.
By the end of the Hundred Year War, the only firebenders who had demonstrated the ability to generate lightning were Princess Azula, Iroh, and Fire Lord Ozai. Azula demonstrated this technique while training under the watchful eye of Lo and Li and later when she was fighting her brother, Prince Zuko.
Lavabending is a dangerous yet powerful Bending Specialization that involves controlling molten earth and lava inside volcanoes. Avatar Szeto, Kyoshi, Roku, and Aang all demonstrated impressive feats with Lavabending, showcasing their mastery over this elemental force.
Can Aang metalbend? No he can't. No, in the Imbalance comic Toph said he was too soft. Toph said he couldn't learn it, suying called korra the first metalbending avatar.
Both Aang and Korra had at least one exciting adventure in the Si Wong Desert, so it's a bit surprising that neither of them took the time to learn sandbending. As a subset of earthbending, Aang may not have wanted to learn since he had so much trouble with earth.
He says, "Even if I did defeat Ozai, and I don't know that I could..." which could indicate his moral reservations about killing his brother just as much as it could indicate doubt in his own abilities. Regardless, Iroh's feats prove superior at every turn.
Based on that bit, it is possible that a human energy bender could eventually reach a level of energy bending mastery to grant bending to other humans who never had bending abilities, but canonically we have not yet seen that demonstrated at all.
Aang would be a tough fight, considering that he can put fire, water, earth, and air within the way of Goku's powers. Unfortunately the fight would still not last that long, even with a heavy earth-fire-water-air defense. Goku could easily kill of Aang while recieving practically no damage whatsoever.
speaking of, Aang may have had the advantage in battle experience, given he was in the avatar state, but Naruto trumped everything else. Naruto's Six paths Sage mode gives him mastery and universal understanding of ALL elements, not just the basic five.
Amon is probably the second most powerful villain in the Avatarverse. He can take away bending without energybending, is very speedy, and strong. People like to say that Aang would wipe the floor with Amon because he'd just go into the Avatar State and break out of the bloodbending like he did with Yakone.
Bloodbending is a subdivision of waterbending. This rare and barbaric skill is exhibited by waterbenders during the full moon when waterbenders gain such mastery over their abilities that they can bend the fluid inside the bodies of other living creatures, including humans.
Avatar Kyoshi is the only known female lavabender, as all other lavabenders (Szeto, Roku, Sun, Ghazan and Bolin) are male. Kyoshi was seen lavabending when she created Kyoshi Island, as she was manipulating the land at the tectonic level in order to separate the mass from the mainland.
First, the person under the grip of a blood- bender is able to form intentions of their own, and so possesses a will of their own. Second, the bloodbender, in order to control their subject, knowingly overrides the will of their victim. They impose their own will in order to use the subject toward their own end.
This technique, Bloodbending, could only be used with the influence of the full moon enhancing her abilities. Horrified by the idea of controlling another person's body, Katara is doubtful as to whether she should really learn about learning to master blood.
As I understand it, Amon is using blood bending to cut off or damage his victim's chi paths - essentially, he's permanently chi-blocking them in order to prevent them from being able to bend. The damaged chi paths can be restored by energybending, but no other method is effective.
