I would say this movie is for 11+ only because it does have light language and lots of comic style action/violence. But overall, it is a family movie for sure. I would recommend this film, especially to Marvel fans.
Parents need to know that Spider-Man's PG-13 rating comes from a couple of swear words, a clingy wet T-shirt, and -- particularly -- a great deal of comic book-style violence. It can get very intense and includes not just fires and explosions, but people getting vaporized, shot (off-camera), and impaled.
Younger children who like Spider-Man toys and costumes are likely to be attracted to the film, but it is rated M for action violence and features a number of violent and scary scenes. Some parents may also be concerned about the coarse language.

Ryan Reynolds does a fantastic job portraying the hilarious and crude anti-hero "Deadpool". The writing in this movie is just plain phenomenal, and the comedy: golden. However, Deadpool is not for kids.
Violence is similar to the previous game, at times there are brief (but missable) spurts of blood during combat, not graphic. A feature was added where both Peter and Miles can take fall damage, if they land from a great height there will be a brief glimpse of blood as they land, this feature however can be disabled.
Peter of course is human and just like everyone else swears, when he puts on the costume and is in public he tries to play it cool and tries his best not to swear, but in moments of deep rage he will let himself go, just like everyone else.
