In the Marvel Universe, even the most powerful villains ultimately lose, and few losses were as horrifying as when Thanos was mercilessly slain by Dr Doom during the Secret Wars event.
They always have a grand plan or scheme in the works. However, Thanos does appear to be the prevailing winner in terms of sheer power and ability thanks to the Infinity Stones.
Doom isn't exactly a good character, despite his manifest intelligence and feats of both science and magic. Still, he was able to lift the hammer. This comes with an asterisk, though. Doctor Doom was able to finally wield Mjolnir after the hammer fell into Hell.
Doctor Doom was among the many heroes and villains killed by Deadpool. He's only ever shown hanging from electrical pole wires, possibly being shocked to death from them by Dreadpool.
Kang, to an infinite degree — except that Doom uses his power better. Interesting fact: Kang's real name is Nathaniel Richards. As in, a distant descendant of Reed Richards… but also of Victor Von Doom. With a lineage like that, we might expect him to be far more brilliant.
On a sheer power level basis, Goku dwarfs Doctor Doom and his armor. Even with Doom's magic skills, Goku is still his superior in power, but that doesn't mean he's superior to Doom. Doctor Doom is much smarter than Goku could ever imagine being.
On normal conditions Doom doesn't have a hope in hell to beat this guy, under normal/common circumstances, no, Odin would wave his hand and Dr Doom would be gone from existence.
Wiz: Also, nothing Doom had could kill him, since Superman has survived hits from god-like beings. Doom also has been beaten by people like Luke Cage and Spider-Man, so he wouldn't last long against Superman's power.
Weaknesses. Magnetism: Doom's metallic body is magnetic; a weakness used by the Master of Magnetism, Magneto. Arrogance and Pride: Doom's excessive pride and arrogance (which has been further fueled by his mother), has lead to the loss of those he loves; with both his wife's and son's death and his mother's betrayal.
Iron Man and Doom go on to tangle many times over the years and while Doctor Doom is never able to defeat the Armored Avenger, he still takes him down to the wire.
In the end, Deadpool wasn't worthy. While he seemingly had control of Mjolnir and the strength of Thor, it was all a mirage put on by Loki to distract Thor.
Yes he can, Or I should say *surprise* he had actually lifted and wielded Thor's hammer i.e Mjolnir. Lifting and wielding Thor's Hammer are two different things. according to enchantment by Odin: "Whosoever holds this hammer, if (s)he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor."
Likewise, with the resources at the two character's disposal, it would definitely be a very close fight. While Doom may fancy himself a god at times, Batman is notorious for taking down gods, making it easy to see how Batman could still achieve victory over Doom.
When the two come to blows, the initial clash proves brief, as Magneto finds himself unable to affect Doom's armor. Utilizing his endless array of gadgetry and nearly uncontested intellectual superiority, Doom easily generates a forcefield that counters the electromagnetic fields Magneto creates.
Darkseid and the power of Apokolips would be able to overwhelm any defenses Doom could set up in Latveria. While Doom has been able to overcome powerful beings in the past, Darkseid and all he can bring to bear would allow him to destroy Marvel's powerful being.
Morgan le Fay traveled to present day Latveria to punish Doctor Doom for failing to come through on his end of their bargain. The Dark Avengers went to Doctor Doom's aid after Morgan le Fay defeated him in mystical combat.
It is also nigh-indestructible, being able to take hits from most superhumans to cosmic beings, and protects Doom from matter manipulation, reality warping and psychic effects.
Abilities. Super-Genius Intelligence: Van Damme held multiple doctoral level degrees and an IQ of 198. Doom was a child prodigy and scientific genius though unlike Richards he approached science as an art rather than as a system.
While Superman could potentially overpower Thor, blows rendered by the mystical Mjolnir would likely impose serious damage on the Kryptonian hero. With his super-speed, the Man of Steel could probably avoid the Thunder God's lightning, but not necessarily, since Thor is just as fast.
Only one Avenger can defeat Doctor Doom - by ignoring all international laws and crossing borders as if they mean nothing to him. Doctor Doom is one of the more powerful and famous villains in Marvel Comics, and the character is strong enough to fend off nearly any attack from all but the most powerful superheroes.
Other Marvel characters have lifted Mjolnir not through worthiness but through technicalities such as absorbing Thor's powers, including the Air-Walker, Awesome Android, Magneto, Rogue, Wonder Man, and Doctor Doom.
They've battled each other in the past and present but every time, Iron Man has been able to defeat the Doctor. Iron Man may be nearly as arrogant as Doom but he doesn't let his arrogance hold him back, which has always allowed him to defeat the Latverian ruler.
Odin stands a good chance at defeating a moderately-fed Galactus. Odin has been stated to be equal to a moderately-fed Galactus. Though Galan did withstand a powerful headbutt from Odin. The Devourer had just consumed one planet before that.
