When does Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana open? Both the attraction and the Moana meet and greet will open on October 16, 2023. Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will be able to get a first preview of the trail during September 24-29 and October 1-4.

(Sept. 9, 2023) — Beginning Oct. 16, 2023, Walt Disney World Resort guests visiting EPCOT will be able to voyage into an all-new adventure with Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.
EPCOT is now unified with four neighborhoods — World Showcase, World Celebration, World Nature and World Discovery — and each speaks to important aspects of the world and its people. World Showcase continues to celebrate the culture, cuisine, architecture and traditions of countries around the world.
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is part of EPCOT's transformation and is located in the World Nature neighborhood of the park where Living with the Land and other similar themed attractions are located.
You can get photos and autographs with Mulan when she appears daily in the China Pavilion at Epcot. She can usually be found near the water garden or next to the Temple.

The all-new Moana character meet and greet at Journey of Water is now open at EPCOT. The outdoor meet and greet with Moana is located next to Journey of Water, which has also soft opened to all guests today. Moana begins meet and greets at 9 am, through mid-afternoon daily.

Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon lagoon all change an entrance fee. Disney Springs and all the Resort Hotels are free to look around. Avanti resort is on I drive and has free shuttles to disney.
