Meanwhile, Harry is released and considered cured. He sustains a concussion that makes him forget his knowledge of Spider-Man's identity and he and Peter rekindle their friendship.
Eventually, Harry learned the truth about his father's death and made amends with Peter. They both battled the villains Sandman and Eddie Brock/Venom, leading Harry dying to save Peter's life.
Harry and Peter's friendship strains severely after the death of Harry's father Norman, who was the villainous Green Goblin, which he blames on Peter's alter-ego Spider-Man on top of some resentment towards Peter for seemingly "stealing" Mary Jane's affections from him.

Harry doesn't die, but his ordeal with Venom leaves him in a coma at the end of Marvel's Spider-Man 2. In one of the game's final scenes, Norman visits his son in the hospital. He mourns Harry's state, and curses the Spider-Men for having "ruined" his son.

What killed Norman Osborn?
He uses advanced Oscorp armor and equipment to terrorize New York City and battle Spider-Man, but ultimately dies when he is impaled by his own glider. A hallucination of Osborn haunts his son Harry in Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Spider-Man 3 (2007).
In his third year Harry prevented Peter Pettigrew from being murdered by his former best friends, Sirius Black and Remus Lupin, for treason. Instead, Harry asked for him to be transferred to Azkaban. Though Pettigrew escaped, he still owed Harry a life debt.
Urged by a hallucination of his father, Harry recovers from his amnesia and forces Mary Jane to break up with Peter. Harry later meets up with Peter and tells him that Mary Jane loves him.
Swearing revenge on Spider-Man, Harry became the new Green Goblin after inheriting Oscorp from his father. Harry suffered a concussion which caused convenient amnesia, making him forget Peter is Spider-Man, leading him to reconcile with his friend.
Harry had inherited his mother's Oshtoran Syndrome and began to experience complications. Unwilling to put his friends through the hardship he felt during his mother's illness, Harry kept his condition a secret, pretending to be busy or hungover from partying when his sickness got in the way.
Knowing that Peter had taken photos of the hero, Harry asked him to get in touch with Spider-Man. Later, Spider-Man appeared in Harry's home, but refused to give him his blood regardless of what Harry offered him, as he believed his blood would have a negative effect on Harry if it wasn't compatible.
She claims it was their kiss, and Peter replies that Spider-Man kissed the girl, not him. MJ, furious and frustrated for Peter's primadonna attitude, leaves. MJ finds solace with Harry, who tries to help her as a friend. After a while, anyway, Harry recovers his memory and forces MJ to break with Peter, menacing her.
Harry and Peter's relationship. Jumping off from there to say that this is an amazing portrayal of the Harry-Peter relationship in all its complexity. It gets right to the core of what J.M. DeMatteis has said so often, that they love each other no matter what.

Nonetheless, following Gwen's death in "The Night Gwen Stacy Died" story arc, the heartbroken Mary Jane became more caring and empathetic, and eventually one of the few people to consistently know Peter's secret identity. This would result in the two falling deeply in love and eventually getting married.
After a few emotional goodbyes, Doctor Strange performs the spell and wipes all memories of Peter Parker from the main MCU universe. Spider-Man: No Way Home's ending shows Peter starting his new life where no one knows he is, including his girlfriend, Michelle Jones-Watson, and best friend, Ned Leeds.
Narrowly defeated by Spider-Man, he receives psychiatric treatment and doesn't recall his time as the Green Goblin nor that Peter was the famous wall-crawler. Meanwhile, Harry finds love with Liz Allan and marries her, and they have a son Normie, named after his father.
While in school together, Sirius once tricked Snape into almost entering the Shrieking Shack while Lupin was there, transformed into a werewolf. James realised the danger and stopped Snape, saving his life; this is the incident Dumbledore referred to at the end of the first book.
Pettigrew hesitated for a few seconds, something his enchanted silver hand interpreted as weakness. This brief moment of mercy caused his silver hand to turn against him, ultimately strangling him to death.
Though he valued his own life more than the lives of his friends, Pettigrew felt guilt for betraying Lily and James, but didn't have the courage to admit his treachery or to turn against Voldemort.
However, Green Goblin found himself alive and transported through the Multiverse due to Doctor Strange's failed spell. Lost in an unfamiliar reality, Osborn retook control of his mind, seeking refuge from Spider-Man, who sought to cure Osborn. However, Green Goblin retook control and murdered May Parker.
Norman Osborn's experiments increase his strength but lead to a mental breakdown, as he becomes a cackling, evil presence often driven by a very personal vendetta with Spider-Man.
More than what the Green Goblin has done to Spider-Man, the supervillain has his own surprising set of superpowers and is physically stronger than his arch-nemesis, making him a truly dangerous villain in Spidey's extensive cast of enemies.
