In a new preview for DC's Titans United, Conner Kent's Superboy is back on Earth with restored powers and a brand new suit. However, it's only because he's seemingly been brainwashed into killing his fellow Titans.
They access a unique bomb Lex Luthor made, but after Conner tricks Sebastian into killing Mother Mayhem for good, the plan backfires. Conner chucks the bomb at Sebastian, but Brother Blood survives. He uses his magic to then murder Superboy, leaving Conner's pale, lifeless corpse in the temple.
After an encounter with May Bennett, the Luthor side of him became more dominant, causing him to change his style and start going by Conner Luthor, rejecting the Kent name. Following Brother Blood's defeat, Conner came back to his senses of being a hero and moved to Metropolis to spend time and train with Superman.
Yet, he quickly overcame that phase and mastered his abilities. But then he was brainwashed and turned against the Titans. He went through very little character progression until Titans Season 4, which has turned him into Lex Luthor, Jr.
In season four, Young Justice: Phantoms, Conner and Miss Martian travel to Mars to undergo a Martian wedding ceremony with her family until he is seemingly killed after sacrificing himself to stop a gene-bomb.
While Brother Blood will be the main villain in Season 4, two of the exciting side threats are Mother Mayhem and Jinx. Now, thanks to new concept art, we have our first look at these classic DC characters.
It appears that Mother Mayhem has secured this power. She has removed the gem from Raven's head, and with it, the dark power of her father. As this happened, Raven's hair turned white, which has significant meaning for fans of the Teen Titan.

Yet, more shocking than that was that Brother Blood a.k.a Sebastian Blood is also Raven's half-brother and son of Trigon. He is a child of a dark prophecy, and his presence in Metropolis will be nothing but trouble for the Titans and their friends at S.T.A.R Labs.
After the Titans destroy Brother Blood, there's no true resolution or cathartic closure with the Conner Kent. All that Titans does is have Superman teach Superboy to fly, yet, fans only see the iconic red boots.
Following a surprise death in the show's fourth season, Conner Kent shaved his head and took on a much more sinister identity more in line with his Lex Luthor heritage than his Kryptonian side. Of course, to achieve this effect, Superboy actor Joshua Orpin had to actually shave his head.
