After the events of the film (and bear with me here, because this gets complicated): Glen murders Chucky for killing Tiffany, Tiffany possesses the soul of actress Jennifer Tilly, And a possessed Tilly gives birth to twin babies so Glen and Glenda can live on as humans.
Fortunately, Tiffany uses magic to separate the two souls in the one doll into two living human bodies. That's where we find Glen and Glenda when they arrive back to the franchise — both played by Lachlan Watson — all grown up in "Chucky" Season 2.
Tiffany completes the ritual, leaving Glen and Glenda's human bodies devoid of their souls as they are combined into the doll. They are then smuggled out by Tiffany in Glenda's luggage, and return to a hotel room for a makeover.
Eventually, Tiffany decides to give up killing to raise her child, but Chucky refuses. The two settle on a plan to transfer their souls into human bodies, and Glen and Glenda into two separate twins, created by impregnating actress Jennifer Tilly with Chucky's sperm in a weird bit of meta humor.
At the end of Seed of Chucky, Glen and Glenda were transferred into twin human babies, allowing both of them to exist simultaneously. Because their consciousness was transferred into infant-sized brains, the twins grew up without the knowledge that they once lived as a sentient doll.
The film is set six years after Bride of Chucky and follows a young doll named Glen, the son of Chucky and Tiffany, resurrecting his parents, causing chaos. The film, shot in Romania, continues the series' evolution from the pure horror genre of the first three films to a hybrid horror-comedy.
If you're wondering why the two names, let us explain before we dive into their history. Although Glen/Glenda is one physical person, they possess the souls of two people, Glen and Glenda, with the former typically having control of the body.

Towards the bedroom scene when Jennifer gives birth, Tiffany stated that she was tired of Chucky's unwillingness to change and walked out on him.
When Nica asks Chucky what his motive is, he reveals that he was a family friend that was secretly in love with Nica's mother Sarah. He killed her father and kidnapped Sarah.

Joan is a character appearing in Seed of Chucky portrayed by Hannah Spearitt. Joan is the calm, providing agent of Jennifer Tilly in Seed of Chucky. She was killed by Glenda when Jennifer called hysterically about her sudden pregnancy.
Glen was completely opposite from their father Chucky and their twin sister, Glenda. Even though he was Chucky's son, who was cruel, malevolent and sadistic, Glen is strikingly meek, kind and compassionate. their parents had their different reactions to their gentle nature.

Charles Lee Ray was a character known as the Lakeshore Strangler who murdered 22 people before his death in the beginning of Child's Play. He is Chucky's original human form before he transferred his soul into a doll.
A lot of people think that Chucky is just using Tiffany and that he has no affection for her. However, this isn't the case if you look into it enough. Chucky does love Tiffany, he just doesn't try to act like a teddy bear around her. This is evident throughout the franchise.
