Godzilla destroys Jet Jaguar using its atomic ray, but Jet Jaguar triggers a Diagonalyzer explosion that converts all of the red dust into harmless blue crystals. Salunga is impaled and permanently frozen in place by the crystals, while Godzilla disappears without a trace.
