Even though this movie is about a comic-book character, neither it nor its flawed hero and villain are aimed at younger kids or appropriate for them. The film is loaded with intense action, from bombs and bullets to martial-arts fighting and hand-to-hand combat.
Too Much Sex. There is no way that this show is appropriate for kids or teenagers. It's unfortunate because the storyline is interesting but the random sex with multiple partners by all of the characters is not what I want my kids seeing .
In the USA, the MPAA had already rated the film PG-13, for 'for intense sequences of violence and some menace'. Before the film was even submitted, it attracted significant media attention, much of it due to the sudden death of actor Heath Ledger, who played The Joker.
Having said that, the show is very well written and well acted. I would not recommend anyone of a sensitive disposition to watch it, and it certainly isn't suitable to allow children to view, due to its depiction of nudity, multiple disturbing deaths and scenes of a graphic nature in general.

First off let me start by saying, yes this is a very dark, violent, and intense movie and I would NOT recommend it for a child. However when it comes to a teen/preteen I think it depends on the teen/preteen, have you taught them right from wrong and do they know the difference between real life and fiction?
"The Batman" Isn't Meant for kids, It's meant for those who understand Batman. As someone who reads and digests almost every form of media Batman, I can say this Batman walked up to the plate and knocked a home run. Its some of the best acting, best story, best cinematography you'll ever see.
Season 4 not for younger viewers. Season 4 is definitely 16 and up, straight up horror. It's a good show but not for younger kids. Lots of torture, grizzly death, one child losing control with anger to the point of bludgeoning another child in the face with a roller skate.
As Orion and the Dark opens, Orion is scared of animals, nature, crossing the street and even his parents abandoning him, shaping a clumsy yet relatable high-school teenager. In time, he befriends Dark, the literal entity that represents the night. Dark wants to show Orion he doesn't need to be afraid of him.
