4DX will be fun only once for most. It is an experience in itself but movie is sidelined with distractions from movement etc. IMAX screen is much larger, brighter and better. it is meant for cinema lovers.

There's no bad seat in a 4DX auditorium as they all move along with the action. That being said, you'll be more engulfed by the fog and the bubbles closer to the front as that's where the machines are located, and you'll get a fuller experience of the rain right in the centre of the auditorium.
Sadly the movie doesn't have any Expanded Aspect Ratio scenes with the movie being in widescreen from start to finish, but don't let this put you off from seeing it in IMAX, the optimisation of the picture and sound makes up for it and you are still seeing the movie of a huge screen which is well worth seeing.
There's just SO MUCH to enjoy. Yes , it is highly recommended to watch Mission : Impossible Fallout in an IMAX theater . The film was specifically shot with IMAX cameras , making it a visually stunning and immersive experience .
Can the 4DX effects be turned off? There is a button on the arm rest, which can be used to turn the water effects off. No other effects can be turned on/off. All chairs will move together, and no individual chairs can be stopped.
4DX equipped auditoriums employ motion enabled chairs, which create strong vibrations and sensations, as well as other environmental controls for simulated weather or other conditions, such as lightning, rain, flashing (strobe) lights, fog and strong scents.
I have tickets to see a 4dx movie in a few weeks, but I just read that the seats have a recommended 240lb weight limit. I'm about 275, so obviously more than that. It's not exactly an intense movie (it's a concert) so I can't imagine there's a ton of movement which is what I would think the weight limit is for.
