Obi-Wan Kenobi is a major protagonist/villain in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, a major villain in All Forgotten, Heroes and HEROES, and CROSS GRIEVOUS, and a minor villain in Star Wars: The Last of the Droids.
His struggle with the dark side is often overlooked compared to Anakin's, but Obi-Wan's emotions occasionally led him to dark actions. Even the wise Jedi Master Yoda had to combat the dark side within himself, showing the powerful draw and impact of emotions for Force users.
Palpatine might not be the most dastardly or powerful villain in the galaxy's entire history, but he certainly is in the Skywalker Saga. Also known as Darth Sidious, he orchestrates the Clone Wars, overthrows the Galactic Republic, eradicates the Jedi, and leads the Empire as it spreads terror throughout the galaxy.

The Jedi visited Padmé in Revenge of the Sith rather than fellow members of the Council because he knew that she was the only one in Anakin's life who would do anything to help pull him back from the dark side. Obi-Wan likely loved Padmé, but as a friend, not a potential lover.
No, just the opposite Vader was considerably more powerful, the reason for his loss on Mustafar was that he didn't have control over his dark side powers yet and his own arrogance undermined his focus.
Obi-Wan, who is significantly less powerful but much more in control, and has a much deeper understanding of the Force, actually stalemates Anakin in a direct power confrontation at least once during the duel, and I believe that's the reason why. So Obi-Wan beat Anakin for several reasons: First, he's more skilled.
While little is known about Yoda's species, we do know, however, that they're incredibly gifted in the Force. Both Jedi Master Yaddle, and now Grogu, hold great Force powers, but no Jedi Master has ever held greater power than Jedi Master Yoda.

However, even without actually turning evil, Yoda was still able to inadvertently bring about the fall of the Jedi Order by the end of the Clone Wars.
Darth Sidious. Bet you expected to see Darth Vader™ here in the top spot. Well, he is — but only with his Master. After all, Darth Sidious played the long game better than anyone else in the galaxy.
Once the heroic Jedi Knight named Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader was seduced by the dark side of the Force. Forever scarred by his defeat on Mustafar, Vader was transformed into a cybernetically-enhanced Sith Lord.
Obi-Wan's clone troopers betrayed him, opening fire seemingly without cause. The clones had been issued Order 66 -- the extermination of all Jedi -- from the Supreme Chancellor, who in reality was Sith Lord Darth Sidious. Obi-Wan survived, however, and made contact with Yoda, though no other Jedi had reported back.
Despite this, Anakin was overall a good person. He saved Obi-Wan on a number of occasions and showed more compassion than most other Jedi. For example: during his time as a General during The Clone Wars, Anakin cared about his clones and refused to see them as dispensable, which is what they were designed to be.
Going by potential power Anakin has 20,000 midichlorians that is known of, but his full potential could have been much higher, maybe 30,000–40,000. Palpatine is stated to have 19,000, so I would safely assume that Rey could have anywhere from 12,000–15,000.
Despite being the Chosen One, Anakin Skywalker was not the most powerful Jedi in Star Wars, as that honor goes to Ahsoka Tano. The Star Wars prequel trilogy focused on Anakin's desire to become the most powerful Jedi, and while he became very strong in the Force, his lust for power drove him to the dark side.
But these complaints often ignore the sheer number of Jedi who did die during Order 66 and shortly afterward. We are talking about, at least, a few thousand. Considering how few survivors there are—less than 100 as of 2023—the actual death toll is probably closer to nine thousand or so. That's still a lot of dead Jedi!
Kylo and Rey (Daisy Ridley) also blasted the Imperial Crusier open trying to Force pull the Lightsaber away from each other, so clearly, Kylo Ren is an extremely strong Force-wielder. Nonetheless, it can be said that Darth Vader is the more powerful master of the Force for one key reason: his temperament.
Vader had been using all his energy to intimidate Luke, so when the actual fight began in a flash, he was already weak and panting. This leads to another huge factor, which is the age difference. While Luke was a young and spry 23-year-old, Vader was reaching his late 40s.
Given the years between these comics' publications, it's hard to tell if Gillen built this argument intentionally or not. Regardless, the core concept is still true. Thanos wields more power and authority than Darth Vader, existing as a stronger and more capable villain overall.
Although Obi-Wan and Satine never married or became an official couple, there was an undeniable romantic connection between the two. In Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Obi-Wan told Satine he would have left the Jedi Order if she had asked him to stay.
The movie novelization, however, did include a line in which Kenobi referred to "[his] brother Owen." Similarly, Owen Lars was explicitly described as the "brother of Obi-Wan Kenobi" in the Premiere Limited set of the Star Wars Customizable Card Game released by Decipher, Inc.
