The Hulk is very nearly immortal/invincible, but not completely. In the miniseries Hulk: The End, the Hulk even survives the death of Bruce Banner to be the last living thing on the Earth.
It has been implied that Hulk can't be killed, yes. There is a story called The End, where he is the last sentient being on Earth being followed around by a robot waiting for him to die so he can record it.
Despite being an unstoppable force, powerful beings like Namor, Wolverine, Iron Man, and Deadpool have managed to outsmart and defeat the Hulk. From fellow superheroes to average soldiers, various characters, including Hawkeye and even Batman, have successfully taken down the Hulk.
His body can come back from any injury, no matter how bad. In Hulk: The End, he was the last being on Earth and mutant cockroaches ate him completely. He regenerated and returned to life after that, proving no one can ever put him down in a fight. No other Avenger has this powerful of a regeneration power.
Thanos and Hulk have clashed several times in Marvel lore, with Thanos even admitting he was scared to face the Hulk before acquiring the Infinity Stones. While Thanos is usually the victor, it's generally down to him using superior tactics and technology, rather than simply possessing greater physical strength.
The main reason why the Jade Giant comes always comes out on top is because of his trademark ability of getting stronger the more he gets angry. As the saying goes: “The angrier Hulk gets, the STRONGER Hulk gets!”. The Hulk's strength grows as does his anger. Meanwhile, Red Hulk doesn't have that ability.
He has centuries of battle experience, the hones skills of a warrior, and one of the most powerful weapons in the universe. Putting it all together, Thor can win against the Hulk, even if he can't kill the Jade Giant.
There's no question the Hulk is a near-indestructible force who comes out on top in almost all of his battles of pure strength. However, against Superman, he's outmatched. While Hulk's strength might rival that of the Man of Steel, Superman's other abilities give him a considerable edge against his opponent.
Between his ever-increasing strength, durability, and healing factor, Hulk has what it takes to survive Goku's most powerful assaults. Goku could stay out of Hulk's way for a while, but once he gets within the Hulk's grabbing range, the fight is over.
The two brawlers have fought beyond these two encounters, but these two fights establish a few hard facts: the Hulk can be overpowered by the Juggernaut; the Hulk cannot consistently stop the Juggernaut; and most importantly, the Hulk's strength, even at maximum, cannot harm the Juggernaut at his maximum power.
Hulk constantly rages against puny Banner, blaming him for his troubles. Whether the Hulk realizes it or not, the fact remains fairly plain to even the casual reader: the Hulk hates Banner because he fears him. Banner is also the only one smart enough to think of a way to destroy the Hulk once and for all.
Though he is not immediately as strong as the Hulk at his best, Skaar does possess an ability called the Old Power, which binds him to the ground beneath him and allows him to draw from it for strength, shape it to his will or locate others through it.
Due to this safeguard, the Professor is ultimately the weakest of the three primary Hulk incarnations despite being the physically largest. Professor Hulk has the attributes of three Hulks: Grey Hulk, Savage Hulk, and Banner.
As Bruce Banner, the character is about 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m) tall and weighs 128 lbs (58.05 kg), but when transformed into the Hulk, the character stands between 7 and 8 ft (2.13 - 2.43 m) tall and weighs between 1,040 and 1,400 lbs (471.73 - 635.02 kg).
10 Hulk. Silver Surfer has handily defeated the Hulk multiple times. While the Hulk is incredibly strong and one of Marvel's most powerful heroes, it's how the Silver Surfer was able to take him down that shows just how strong the herald of Galactus is.
In fact, the only foe that fast who Hulk's ever seemed to keep pace with in a one-on-one match was Sentry, and that was when he was at his most powerful stage, Worldbreaker Hulk. Boomstick: So overall, Hulk had strength and Doomsday had speed, but neither completely outclassed the other.
Given that the Immortal Hulk only comes out at night, Superman could fairly easily defeat him (even when he's in Hulk form) by hitting him out of Earth orbit. Once outside of Earth's shadow, the daylight would be (effectively) perpetual.
His adamantium claws are one of the few weapons in the Marvel Universe that can consistently pierce Hulk's skin and Wolverine has no problem going for Hulk's head. In fact, if it came down to it, Wolverine could cut Hulk's head off, ending the Hulk once and for all.
The self-proclaimed title of being the “strongest one there is” does not waiver in the literal sense when the Hulk makes such declarations. Having no absolute upper limit, the Hulk's super-strength is said to be infinite as he only grows stronger the angrier he becomes.
