The images and violence at times can and will impact viewers certain viewers not so much and the sex is very graphic and is in appropriate for 14 and under so with this information and the boundaries of the official age rating rules I will have to set this at an average 16 neither 15 or 18 but inbetween.
Underrated. I can't call this a bad movie but its also hard to consider it good. Thomas Jane was a great choice for Frank Castle but he isn't given a chance to show his Punisher off. The story is slow and tries to be a Character study but misses the mark even on that.
Overall there is not too much explicit scenes. Most of the time it is more mild. There is lots of moaning and panting in the sex scenes, akin to what you would hear in an adult film.
Rated R for strong brutal violence. Doesn't need an age rating. Children are capable of separating film from reality. A man and another young man try to buy illegal guns from Frank who's working undercover.
Young kids looking for a family-friendly superhero series will not find one in Daredevil, but mature teens and grown-ups will be thrilled by this dark but still very enjoyable interpretation.
There is an extremely violent prison fight scene, although you'll know it's coming because the episode it's in is rated 18. To summarise, I think It's a great series with some minor flaws (also, I only gave it a 15 because it seemed liked a good in between point, it's really up to how mature you think your child is).
He can be very, very sadistic. He tends not to get on with Marvel's actual superheroes, often getting in destructive battles with them; He once shot Wolverine in the groin and then proceeded to run him over with a steamroller.

First, there is a ton of violence. Teens/tweens are brutally killed, their bones snapped, eyes gouged out, eaten by monsters etc. There is a terrifying possession scene is season two and there is an exorcism scene that is very scary. In season four, a group of younger kids are killed in a horrific massacre.
There's also moderate profanity used regularly throughout, and mild talk of alcohol and drug use. However, as Jon Bernthal's Punisher is by far the most ruthlessly violent person in either Daredevil or The Defenders saga, his show's TV-MA rating is easily the most logical.

Parents need to know that Spider-Man's PG-13 rating comes from a couple of swear words, a clingy wet T-shirt, and -- particularly -- a great deal of comic book-style violence. It can get very intense and includes not just fires and explosions, but people getting vaporized, shot (off-camera), and impaled.
You should watch Daredevil first because The Punisher TV series was a spin-off from Season 2 of Daredevil, Frank Castle stole the show. It's still worth watching.
