Jango Fett is is a major antagonist in the Star Wars franchise, specifically serving as the secondary antagonist of the 2002 epic space opera film Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, the second installment of the prequel trilogy.
Outside of the films, the character appears in a number of canonical and non-canonical Star Wars works, such as comic books and video games, which depict him as an antihero rather than a villainous figure, and explore his past as both a bounty hunter and Mandalorian warrior.
Jango Fett was a human male who stood at 1.83 meters. He had black hair, brown eyes, and tan skin. Fett was a calm, analytic, and crafty mercenary, as well as an expert fighter, and reputedly, the best bounty hunter in the galaxy. He was also an honorable man according to his friend, the pirate Hondo Ohnaka.
In the final years of the Republic, Jango Fett was regarded as the best bounty hunter in the galaxy. A proficient marksman and unarmed combatant, Fett was covered in a sleek armored suit that concealed his scarred face.
Jango said his own clones (apart from his cloned son, Boba) were cannon fodder. Boba was the only one he cared about. That is because he was the only cline that was unaltered.

Why was Jango Fett killed so easily?
While Jango Fett was a skilled fighter, his abandonment of "The Way" and his reliance on gadgets and tricks instead of discipline may have contributed to his swift defeat by Mace Windu.
Jango hated the Jedi for what they took from him. Perhaps he even hated him for having a home to return to after helping the New Mandalorians take his. Whatever the reason, he hated the Jedi enough to become essential to Palpatine's elaborate plans of genocide.
In terms of combat skills, Jango has the upper hand. He has undergone rigorous training under bounty hunters like Hondo Ohnaka, Duros Cad Bane, Aurra Sing, and Zam Wesell. Boba may seem cooler in fighting, but his father is more skillful than him in hand-to-hand combat.
He is primarily motivated by profit and usually only loyal to the highest bidder. Fett always focuses on maintaining peak condition with his body, mind, and equipment.
With this came a new version of Jango Fett who now is simply a common bounty hunter who uses Mandalorian armor. This was the accepted canon version of Jango until The Mandalorian changed him back into a Mandalorian.
In his time as a Bounty Hunter, Jango is only known to have killed one Jedi, Coleman Trebor. However, he did kill six Jedi with his bare hands during the Battle of Galidraan, when he was still a soldier.
While seemingly killed in Return of the Jedi after falling into a sarlacc, he has since appeared in Star Wars media set after the film, confirming his survival within the new canon, portrayed by Temuera Morrison.
In the Star Wars prequels, Jango removes his helmet more or less whenever he's not fighting, happy for Obi-Wan, the people of Kamino, Count Dooku and others to see his (or, indeed, Temuera Morrison's) face.
Although he wears Mandalorian armor and claims that he was born on a planet under Mandalorian rule, actual Mandalorian officials insist that he is not a Mandalorian and acquired his armor through theft or scavenging. Jango Fett's actual early life, though, remains mostly unknown.
With his customized Mandalorian armor, deadly weaponry, Boba Fett was once regarded as one of the most fearsome and capable bounty hunters in the galaxy. An unaltered genetic clone of his father, bounty hunter Jango Fett, Boba learned combat and martial skills from a young age.
It was then that Fett would carry out the act that would make him both famous and infamous for the rest of his life and career: using no weapon beyond his own hands, feet, and armored body, Fett vengefully killed six Jedi, including the one killed Myles.
Jango Fett, but not by a lot. The guy managed to go toe-to-toe against one of the most powerful Jedi of all time (Obi-Wan). He was also hand-picked for cloning to create the most powerful army in the Galaxy.
After the death of Jango Fett, Aurra trained Boba Fett as a bounty hunter, teaching him the skills -- and the ruthlessness -- that he would need in pursuing his deadly profession.
He powerful both physically and mentally, didn't care much for the Republic and was Palpatine's preferred species. So, in a move that could've risked his entire plan, Palpatine sent Count Dooku to Jango to make him an offer -- a hefty 20 million credits to make him the Clone template.
Windu counters that Sidious is too dangerous to be kept alive and prepares to summarily execute him. However, Anakin intervenes on Sidious' behalf, disarming Windu by severing his right hand. Sidious kills Windu with a blast of Force lightning, sending him falling to his death out of his office's window.
Ultimately, Jango Fett did not ask much in return for providing his DNA. All he wanted was an unaltered clone for himself. This boy would not be engineered in any way, so that he could grow and develop at a normal pace and live out a human lifespan. In this way, Boba Fett™ was Jango Fett's only son.
