Overall, this movie can empower kids to see their worth, to choose to sacrifice for others, and to seek out community that will genuinely care for them. One of my absolute favorite things about Tangled is how it uplifts the dignity of the human person.
Leaving the tower was the best decision she made in the movie, because it opened up so many new doors for her. Rapunzel's story teaches us that although it may seem scary, adventuring out of your comfort zone may lead to great new experiences for you.

With TANGLED, they have done so while preserving the folktale's moral themes. The movie can even be interpreted in a Christian, redemptive, spiritual manner. In the beginning, a drop of sunlight falls to the earth and becomes a glowing flower.
The complexity of the villain, Mother Gothel, is another reason why Tangled is so good. Rather than being evil simply for the sake of being evil, she is morally corrupt in order to achieve her goal of looking young forever.
Despite not knowing the world beyond her tower, she finds the courage to push herself forward and pursue her ambitions, discovering new friends and her true self in the process.
