Once upon a time, in the enchanting kingdom of Arendelle, lived a jovial snowman named Olaf who loved everything about summer and warmth. Among all his whimsical dreams, there was one thing Olaf feared the most - melting.
As he becomes wiser to the world, Olaf begins to fear the negative repercussions that come with change and growing older, lamenting that nothing in life is permanent.
The character of Olaf went through many iterations before he became the cuddly snowman we all know and love today. In fact, “lovable” wasn't even his original persona! When the story was in its early stages, Olaf was actually going to be one of the guards in Elsa's palace.
In this film, it is revealed that Olaf no longer needs his personal flurry and now has a layer of permafrost that keeps him from melting. While running from Arendelle, Olaf starts to blow but Kristoff saves him from being blown away he was seen playing with the children as they were decorating some ice crystals.
