Of all the members of the Losers Club, Bev has the most rational fear. While the boys fear monsters and imaginary things, Bev is afraid of her own biology. Despite it being inevitable, she is terrified of growing up.
He abuses Beverly and her mother and acts misogynistic. He hates it when she hangs around with boys. He is last mentioned during Beverly's childhood as trying to kill her out of anger to It's influence. He is also a form that It uses to frighten Beverly since she is afraid of him.
She is sexually abused by her father, Alvin Marsh, and bullied by Gretta Keene and some of the other students at school because of rumors of her being promiscuous. She is best friends with Bill Denbrough, Richie Tozier, Eddie Kaspbrak, Stan Uris, Ben Hanscom, and Mike Hanlon.
After Bev is kidnapped by Pennywise and dragged down to his lair, the demonic, shape-shifting clown holds her up in the air by her neck and opens its jaw all the way back so she's forced to stare deep into its throat.
The Losers Club each approach Neibolt Street to destroy Pennywise once and for all. After the group finishes off the clown, they find themselves lost in the sewers and begin to panic. To seal their bond, each of the boys has sex with Beverly in a controversial scene portrayed from Beverly's perspective.

Did Beverly's father abuse her?
Beverly's father physically abuses her while making subtle sexual advances on her when her mother is away from the house. Mr. Bowers encourages his son to attack and abuse Mike because of the color of his skin.
It's revealed this is Pennywise himself, disguised as an old woman and, in the miniseries, Bev's father. Based on her fear of the blood, it makes sense that adult Bev would now be afraid of the decaying old woman.
The deadlights made a cameo in 2017's “It” when Beverly looked into Pennywise's open mouth and saw three, small white lights deep inside her throat. As far as I remember, from the book, Pennywise is, at the very least, a shape shifter.
He slaps and punches Beverly but also sexually abuses her by masturbating over her while putting her to bed. He works as a janitor. Al sees himself as a man with “no vices” because he does not drink or commit infidelity. In addition to being abusive, he is misogynistic.
Beverly's father can't see any of the blood in the bathroom. On one level, this is because he's an adult; a major theme of It is that the innate power of childhood and ability to remember childhood fears serve as a crucial weapon against It.
He is also a mentioned character in 11/22/63. He was the youngest of the seven members of The Losers' Club, and the only member Pennywise is afraid of.
George, often called “Georgie,” has a fear of the dark and last sees Bill when his older brother helps him make a paper boat that George takes out into the rain. George is last seen wearing a yellow slicker and red galoshes.
Mike encounters a giant, prehistoric-like bird when exploring the Kitchner Ironworks. He hides in a smokestack until the bird goes away. IT reveals that Mike is afraid of this form from a very early memory of a crow pecking him when he was only 6 months old.
Sonia constantly represses Eddie's feelings and emotions, resulting in his fears of the world around him and of disease as well as standing up for himself. This fear manifests itself in what It shows as his biggest fear, the leper, as well as several other times throughout the novel.
Beverly cuts her hair after her father touches it, she probably does this not only because she doesn't like him, but also because she doesn't want anything to please him.
In the novel, her mother is alive (King 483), but in the films, as is confirmed in It Chapter 2, her mother has committed suicide. During a particularly distressing flashback, her father tells Beverly that her mother killed herself because she was embarrassed to be her mother.
She is the only female member of the group which consists of Bill Denbrough, Richie Tozier, Eddie Kaspbrak, Mike Hanlon, Stan Uris, and Ben Hanscom. Beverly had a crush on Bill, but as an adult and towards the end of book, she lets go of her feelings for Bill and falls in love with Ben Hanscom.
A common interpretation of this phrase is that it refers to where the souls of IT's victims go after they die, as they wouldn't go to heaven nor hell, staying instead in the “deadlights”, which would be a sort of limbo, thus “floating” in that middle point for eternity.
Throughout the novel, IT is generally referred to as male; however, late in the novel, the characters come to realize that IT is most likely female, due to its true form in the physical realm being that of a giant pregnant female spider.
As such, Pennywise itself can be considered a living pocket dimension. The deadlights are IT's true form in the macroverse. “You'll all float" is referring to the deadlights. The only person to have ever glimpsed the deadlights and come back is Audra Denbrough.
Stephen King's IT introduced readers to a one-of-a-kind creature that can take any form, the most common one being Pennywise the Dancing Clown, and as menacing as it is, this creature has one big enemy it's truly scared of: Maturin, the turtle.
Comparing him to a clown whose goal is to eat children to survive makes Art scarier because he has no motivations. As a result, he's never understood, and his level of unpredictability makes him dangerous.
However, they make an oath that, if Pennywise is not in fact dead, they will all return to Derry to defeat him. In his adult life, Bill has become a successful writer and married an actress, Audra Phillips. Bill has controlled his stutter and, due to the nature of It, cannot remember Derry, Georgie, or The Losers Club.
