Jurassic World may have been originally imagined as a trilogy, but the franchise isn't extinct yet. A fourth film in the sequel series to Jurassic Park has been green-lit ahead of a summer 2025 release. It will be the seventh blockbuster in the franchise overall, and the first since 2022's Jurassic World: Dominion.

David Koepp will return to script the seventh film in the dino franchise. Life finds a way — and so does the Jurassic Park franchise. Universal Pictures is developing a new Jurassic World movie written by David Koepp, who penned the original Jurassic Park and its sequel The Lost World, EW has confirmed.
On January 24, 2024, it was confirmed by Steve Brusatte himself that he would be returning as paleontology consultant for the film. On February 5, 2024, it was confirmed that David Leitch was in talks to direct Jurassic Park VII, and a slated release date of July 2nd, 2025, was also revealed.

Mark your calendar for Wednesday July 2, 2025 for the new Jurassic World movie, which is a reboot. As Deadline's Dish just reported, the next installment is looking to be directed by David Leitch off David Koepp's screenplay.
Aguiton wrote that ratings suffered from the show being moved to different time slots on the network. The animatronics made the show relatively expensive, with Stuart Pankin recalling that "I heard it was the most expensive half-hour TV show, at least at that point" and that this contributed to the cancellation.

As evidence suggests that many dinosaurs had metabolisms more like birds, they probably did not have the same relative life spans as large reptiles. It is possible that sauropods reached 50-100 years, large theropods a bit less and smaller dinosaurs could live to about 10 or 20.
In actuality, Carnotaurus sastrei was smaller; roughly about 9–10 feet tall and 26–29 feet long (while Tyrannosaurus was 13–15 feet tall and 40–50 feet in length), thus making Carnotaurus slightly larger than Iguanodon, the main dinosaur of the movie.

It is the sixth film in the Jurassic Park film series and served as the conclusion to the Jurassic World saga as a whole. The sequel was first confirmed by Fallen Kingdom director, Juan Antonio Bayona. Filming began in Canada in February 2020 and the film was released internationally on June 10, 2022.
Previous Jurassic stars such as Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum are not expected to reprise their roles for the movie. However, their potential returns have not been ruled out yet.
