Katniss Everdeen learned her archery skills from her father and uses a bow to hunt for food in the woods outside of District 12. The bow also became her weapon of choice in the arena during the 74th Hunger Games and 75th Hunger Games.
It is revealed in Hunger Games that she has learned archery from her late farther. Her father made her first bow, which she keeps in a tree outside the District 12 border at the beginning of Hunger Games, in order to avoid any possible repercussion should the weapon be found in her home.
They are at the edge of the district, which is enclosed by a high fence, and Katniss often crawls under the fence and enters the woods outside, where she forages and hunts. Her father taught her these skills before his death in a mine explosion when she was eleven years old, and she uses a bow he made.
While Katniss was preparing for the 75th Hunger Games in the Training Center, Beetee and Wiress showed her the weak spot in the force field between the Gamemakers and the tributes: a small wavering square in the air, revealing the invisible force field.

Conclusion: Yes, Gale was indirectly involved with Prim's death, as in if he didn't create the bomb then she wouldn't have died. But what if someone else invented it? Gale did not kill Prim.
Although she will never know for sure, Katniss does recognize that she cannot be with Gale. She will never be able to forgive him for his idea — the parachute bombs — that killed Prim.
Given that she is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect Peeta, it's safe to assume that the Morphling was committed to the rebel cause. Like the other victors, she knows the power that Katniss has as a lightning rod for the rebellion, and she knows that Katniss will not help without Peeta.
Chia Mags kisses Finnick on the mouth to briefly let him know that this is the last time she will see him. It's her way of saying "Goodbye" but in a more affectionate way.
The films, trying to be as faithful to the source material as possible, naturally had to include Finnick's death as well. In this sense, Finnick is the perfect candidate for upping the stakes of the plot via his death, as his hope for a future with his partner Annie made his demise seem even more untimely.
Haymitch Abernathy, the mentor for Katniss and Peeta in The Hunger Games, won his own Hunger Games through smart tactics and outsmarting his opponents. Winning the Hunger Games came at a great cost for Haymitch, as President Snow ordered the death of his family and girlfriend as punishment for his rebellion.
