He swaps Skinny Pete's Thunderbird for his El Camino, something Skinny Pete himself suggests. He snags Todd's money from where it's stashed in Todd's refrigerator, and later claims the rest from Neil and Casey, the two associates of Todd's who also come searching for it.
After he escapes, Jesse returns to the apartment looking for Todd's money, only to discover Todd has moved it. After trashing the apartment searching for it, he finally discovers Todd had hidden the money inside the fridge door.
Jesse then finds Todd's stash and the money is split evenly between him, Neil and Casey. One-third of the money from Todd's stash plus Skinny Pete and Badger's contributions adds up to $248,200, since Ed required $250,000, and Jesse Pinkman was $1,800 short.

How is Todd not dead in El Camino?
Like Bryan Cranston's Walter White and Jonathan Banks' Mike Ehrmantraut, Todd is brought back from the dead via flashbacks by Breaking Bad creator and El Camino writer-director Vince Gilligan.
The guy is arrested in the same episode, he rats Mike out and all of the money is confiscated by the DEA. Jesse tries to give his money to Kaylee later on in the season but he is stoped by Saul. Kaylee will have to bust her ass if she wants to have a good future now, lol.
In El Camino, Pinkman crosses paths with Neil, an employee of the welding company. Pinkman's at the house of now-deceased Todd Alquist, digging around for a stash of money that Todd Alquist had stolen before he died. Pinkman knew Todd had the money. But as he soon finds out, Neil, is also after Todd's thousands.
And, just before the film's close, El Camino delved back in time for the return of the show's central character: Walter White, the chemistry-teacher-turned-drugs-baron portrayed by Bryan Cranston. However, the man we saw in flashback is far from the one portrayed in the Breaking Bad finale.
