Sirius only seemed to waste his time with the other girls because he wanted to feel the love that he lacked at home. Sirius hardly ever admits how deeply he truly feels for Marlene. For those who know him well it is obvious that he adores her beyond comprehension.
Despite all of this, Rowling states that Sirius's "redeeming quality is the affection that he is capable of feeling. He loved James like a brother and went on to transfer this attachment to Harry."

The story of Sirius Black and Marlene McKinnon first began in their sixth year at Hogwarts. She was new and he was more than happy to make her feel welcome. His pure-blood status and her father being a muggle made no difference to either of them, even in a time of great prejudice.
Regulus does began to develop a crush on Marlene during the first few weeks that they spend time together. When he is with Marlene he often feels like he can be the best version of himself like when he was a child with Sirius.
As far as we know he didn't. The only thing Remus ever says about Lily in the books is that she started dating James in seventh year. The line of Lily being there for Remus and seeing the beauty in everyone is movie only.
Sirius was only 36 years old when he tragically died at the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange. Since most of the adult Harry Potter actors were older than their characters, the age changes in the films helped hide just how young Sirius actually was.

Until the climax of Prisoner of Azkaban, Lupin believed Sirius Black was guilty of murdering 12 Muggles, betraying Lily and James Potter, and killing Peter Pettigrew. He eventually discovered the truth — that Sirius was innocent, and the very much alive Peter was the traitor.
Remus was so bold as to jump over Romulus' wall jestingly. In response to Remus' mockeries and for jumping over his wall, Romulus, angered by his brother's belittlement, killed him.
She had little affection for her son Sirius, as he was viewed as a blood traitor by the Black family but appeared to have a fairly good relationship with Sirius' younger brother, Regulus, and was proud of him when he joined the Death Eaters.
Although Sirius was the older son and heir, Regulus's parents liked him more, as he upheld the Black family traditions and was loyal to his parents, although his brother Sirius didn't follow any of the traditions. Regulus is two years younger than Sirius.
Sirius' love for Regulus is a VERY popular theme in Marauders-era fanfiction. However, there is nothing in the books to suggest he cared deeply, or at all, about Regulus.
