When it comes to power, however, Thor is the winner and it's not close. His lightning is only part of the package. People forget that Thor holds some of the Odin-Force (now the Thor-Force), Stormbreaker or Mjolnir, and there's the power of Gaea (his mother) that he rarely uses.
The Olympian and the Asgardian are evenly matched in terms of both strength and durability. For comparison, both Thor and Hercules' durability and raw power pale in comparison to the likes of Zeus - a low-key but crucial Thor: Love and Thunder spoiler for any future outings of the Olympians.
Writers often take artistic licenses when dealing with Hercules' strength, as Stan Lee himself pointed out at one time. However, it is undeniable that Hercules has bested both Thor and Hulk, proving he is indeed the strongest Avenger.
Hercules, however, manages to return to Avengers Mansion and singlehandedly engages the Masters of Evil, being eventually beaten unconscious by Goliath, Mister Hyde, and the Wrecking Crew.

Hercules is stronger than Savage Hulk and he should in reality be able to knock him out before Hulk can reach thresholds high enough in strength to beat him. Hercules is also a better fighter than Hulk due to his experience having lived as long as he have being the son of Zeus.
So, while Hercules would definitely be able to do a lot of damage quickly, his lack of planning and limited power set are going to cost him. If Thanos didn't have his amazing energy manipulating abilities, Hercules would pretty easily beat him. Unfortunately for Herc, Thanos can use those powers to even up the odds.
Hercules is very strong but that's pretty much it. While he's a demi-god, he doesn't really have a magic weapon or skill he can use beyond his strength and that's going to cost him against Superman.
Superman and Hercules are comparable in physical strength. But Superman can increase his physical strength to infinity with Sundip and other energies, something Hercules could not do.
Simply put Thor can best Hulk in a fight because he wields Mjolnir and is a god. Complexly said, Hulk can't defeat a divine god with a mighty hammer that lets him blast energy beams, fly, and summon a kinds of weather.
While Superman could potentially overpower Thor, blows rendered by the mystical Mjolnir would likely impose serious damage on the Kryptonian hero. However, with his super-speed, the Man of Steel could probably avoid the Thunder God's lightning.
Thor then kills Zeus using Zeus' own thunderbolt, which (frankly) feels like a bit of an overreaction. Yes, Zeus had him handcuffed, but killing him? Well, Zeus' death doesn't need to weigh on Thor's conscious because it turns out that Zeus somehow survived.
Hercules Is A Powerful Demigod But He Couldn't Stand Up To Shazam's Magical Lightning. Hercules is the Olympian son of Zeus and one of Marvel's most powerful demigods. He's a longtime member of the Avengers and has faced some of the biggest threats in the Marvel Universe.
He is only slightly weaker if at all weaker than Superman. No matter what anyone says Cap is still human, Hercules is a God and has taken on Titans. There is no way Cap can hang with Hercules, with 1 good punch Hercules could kill Captain America.
He has feats such as defeating Surtur (who can destroy a planet), conquering the 9 realms, and sealing away Hela. While there isn't much doubt that Thanos could beat Odin if he had all 6 stones, Odin could probably defeat Thanos if he only had one or two of them.
Despite his immense power, the Hulk has been defeated by heroes like Wolverine, Iron Man, Puck, and the Punisher. Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, and the Thing have also managed to take down the Hulk using their intelligence, teamwork, and unique abilities.
In their notable first encounter, Hercules is shown to have the speed and reflexes to match Spider-Man's spider-sense which leaves Spider-Man's attacks pretty ineffective and allows Hercules to easily overpower him.
Rising to his feet, Hulk backhands the Son of Zeus, before pummeling the Greek god into submission as he begs Hulk to stop, trying to convince him that they're there to help. Namora covers her eyes, unable to watch any more of the brutal beating.
Even so, taking both heroes at their maximum potential, it's practically a given that Superman would overpower Thor in terms of sheer physical strength. He may not consider himself a god, but the Last Son of Krypton can still outmatch the God of Thunder on his best day.
In a battle between Batman and Thor, considering the vast gap in their powers and abilities, Thor would likely emerge as the victor. Thor's godly strength, control over lightning, and durability put him in a league beyond that of a mortal like Batman.
Hercules (Yes, that Hercules) is, of course, the son of the Olympian god, Zeus. While not cosmic (none of that on this list!), he can survive the vacuum of space and resist cosmic attacks. He ranks above Thor here because he's technically the stronger of the two.
