Thane is the son of Thanos and an Inhuman woman who spent the majority of his young life in Orollan as a healer, but Thane's life would change forever when his father came to Earth.
Despite the fact that Thanos initially dismissed Nebula's claim and even the very idea of having children, INFINITY (2013) revealed that Thanos had a son named Thane with an Inhuman woman. Thane initially appeared human before he underwent Terrigenesis.

Summary. Thanos' death in Avengers: Endgame by Iron Man wielding the Infinity Stones is the most iconic and satisfying death in the MCU. Thanos' beheading by Thor in Avengers: Endgame is a darkly satisfying moment of character development and raises intrigue for the plot.
Thanos and Hulk have clashed several times in Marvel lore, with Thanos even admitting he was scared to face the Hulk before acquiring the Infinity Stones. While Thanos is usually the victor, it's generally down to him using superior tactics and technology, rather than simply possessing greater physical strength.

Drax's personal arc had grown to give him priorities other than Thanos' demise - even if the Infinity Saga showed he still wanted to murder him - and was also far weaker than Thanos every time they would've had the chance to fight.
Starfox being Thanos' adopted brother also more easily explains the differences in their appearances. While Thanos' purple skin is never really explained in the MCU, it's the result of having Deviant genes in the comics. (Originally, all Titans had purple skin, including Starfox, but that has since been retconned.)
Summary. Rhodey, aka War Machine, is confirmed as the ideal replacement for Iron Man in the upcoming Armor Wars, as his characterization now mirrors Stark's. Rhodey's reveal as a Skrull impostor adds a layer of trauma and parallel to Tony Stark's origin story, making him a compelling successor to Iron Man.
And OOOPS SURPRISE Thanos has to sacrifice "what he loves most" in order to get the stone. His tears imply that he loves Gamora, but in one of my favorite movie moments of all time, Gamora spits back at him, "This isn't love."
Thanos never cared much for Nebula, even going so far as to say in Guardians of the Galaxy that Gamora was his favorite. That could be because, to Thanos, Nebula was nothing more than a means to spare Gamora while still obtaining the Soul Stone.
