Usually, Khonshu is depicted as a symbol of childhood, often wearing the head of a falcon or eagle, which translates into his Moon Knight depiction as a humanoid figure with the head of a bird.
Well, in ancient Egyptian iconography, the deity Khonshu was sometimes depicted with the head of a falcon. But the Khonshu of modern Marvel comics often has a particularly huge raven-like beak (just like the one in Moon Knight on Disney Plus), probably because it looks cool and creepy.
Khonsu was generally depicted as a young man with a side lock of hair, and on his head he wore a uraeus (rearing cobra) and a lunar disk. Khonsu also was associated with baboons and was sometimes assimilated to Thoth, another moon god associated with baboons.

However, the fact that the Egyptian gods work through avatars puts them at a severe disadvantage. Moon Knight is less powerful compared to Thor, but in a one-on-one fight with Thor, Khonshu would win.
While Ammit is sometimes classified among the ancient Egyptian gods, she is more accurately assigned the role of a demon or as a sinister goddess of the Underworld. She is patron of death and execution.
Khonshu is a complex god, who seeks to rid the world from evil. While vengeful, arrogant and manipulative, he does truly care about humanity and disliking the Ennead Council in return as he believed they abandoned humanity. Which is partially true as Isis, a member of the Ennead Council, is seen on Omnipotence City.
Arguably Ancient Egypt's most important god, Ra was the Creator God. He was one of the first to emerge in Egyptian mythology. Ra created Earth, Heaven and the Underworld, as well as all of the gods and living creatures that inhabit these three worlds.
The only Egyptian god who appears more powerful than Khonshu is Bast, also known in Egyptian mythology as Bastet. Often depicted as a cat, Bast was notable for being a warrior goddess, often associated with the Sun god Ra.
The Ennead Council banished Khonshu for his continued interactions with humanity. Khonshu came to hate the Council for abandoning the human race, and the Council despised Khonshu's theatrics, such as his ceremonial armor and weapons he gifted to his Avatars.
Early on, Khonsu was described as a cannibal god. The earliest mentions of Khonsu in the Egyptian Pyramid Texts describe his violence, claiming his diet consisted of the hearts and heads of men and that he would kill lords and eat their flesh. He did not become a major part of Egyptian mythology until the New Kingdom.
Khonsu is attested with two wives in his tomb TT31. His first wife Ruia was the mother of the High Priest of Sobek Usermontu and other children. His second wife May was mother to the Stablemaster Usermontu and the Second Prophet of Menkheperre Khaemwaset and others.
As a god, Khonshu can take different physical forms. He often appears as a figure dressed in white, with a large bird skull for a head (it's just as terrifying as it sounds).
Layla is currently the avatar for Taweret, the goddess of fertility (who also deals with the afterlife). Taweret has the head of a hippo, and the body parts of a feline and crocodile. Layla's costume, on the other hand, looks more like the Falcon's costume. She has bulletproof golden wings, and sports two swords.

Since Apophis was seen as a constant threat to the order of the universe, his ultimate goal was to devour the sun god Ra and plunge the world into eternal darkness. As such, Apophis was an important figure in Egyptian religious beliefs and rituals.

It's heavily implied that Khonshu saw Marc's DID as something easily exploited, and manipulated him by using the nature of his childhood trauma to appeal to his moral code. What's more, Marc's skills as a mercenary overlap with the role of Khonshu's avatar, making him a perfect fit for the Egyptian god.
Becoming the host of the Phoenix, Spector used its power to attack Khonshu, leaving him to be defeated and have the stolen powers stripped from him by the Avengers. Following his defeat, Khonshu was imprisoned in the dungeons of Asgard.

Upon her liberation by Harrow, Ammit engaged in a confrontation with Khonshu, Moon Knight and Scarlet Scarab, which ended in Ammit being imprisoned inside Harrow's body. Ammit was then killed when Jake Lockley shot and killed Harrow under Khonshu's orders.
