Who was considered the weakest Autobot or Decepticon in the G1 cartoons and comics series? Physically? Bumblebee for the Autobots. It's even in his bio that he is one of the smallest, weakest Autobots, but he more than makes up for it with his skills at stealth, infiltration and scouting abilities!

Grimlock is among the strongest of the Transformers, possibly equal to or even superior to Optimus Prime and Megatron in most continuities. In Tyrannosaurus rex mode, his jaws can snap virtually anything that comes between them.
Sentinel Prime is the surprise villain of Dark of the Moon, and he manages to defeat two of the strongest Autobots in short order. His killing of Ironhide and the defeat of Optimus Prime establish how huge of a threat Sentinel Prime is. He even defeats Optimus twice, both times through fighting ability alone.
