Carface Carruthers is the main antagonist of the All Dogs Go to Heaven franchise. He is a former criminal who was Charlie B. Barkin's former business partner and former arch-nemesis. In All Dogs Go to Heaven, he was voiced by the late Vic Tayback.
Charles Nelson Reilly as Killer, a misnamed, fidgety, neurotic and spectacles-wearing Schnoodle who is Carface's comic relief sidekick. Reilly was the second original voice actor that reprised his role in the series and An All Dogs Christmas Carol except for the sequel.

Anne-Marie, from All Dogs Go to Heaven (1989), was replaced with David, an 8 year old magician wannabe, due to Judith Barsi's fatal tragedy back in 1988, as the producers decided not to recast Ann-Marie in further All Dogs Go To Heaven franchise since she became a dedicated character of the ill-fated actress.
Eventually, Charlie is confronted with his sins, and he realizes that he needs to rescue Anne-Marie. As she is drowning, Charlie sacrifices his watch to take her to safety; the watch stops, and he dies again. His sacrifice earns him redemption (to his surprise), and Annabelle cheerfully calls on him to come to heaven.
He saves Anne-Marie from Carface and nearly drowning by sacrificing his own life. Killer pushes her to the shore as the ship has nearly fully sunk. She is medically and taken in by the Wallet Family, Harold and Kate. By sacrificing his life, Charlie has once again earned a place in Heaven.
It is actually a pretty dark story, where the dogs are similar to mobsters who are involved in gambling, extortion, and even cold blooded murder. The movie follows a dog named Charlie who had escaped from the pound, is killed by his old friend, goes to heaven, but ends up coming back to earth.
