The Attack on Wilson Fisk was a planned attempt by Wilson Fisk to liberate himself out of Ryker's Island. Fisk bribed his fellow inmate Jasper Evans to stab him in order to convince FBI to place him to Presidential Hotel.
Lopez pulled her gun on Fisk as he tried to appeal to her, claiming that they were family and that family did not always see eye to eye. In response, Lopez shot him in the face.
Matt, meanwhile, revealed to Poindexter that Fisk had Julie killed in order to send him after Fisk. Elsewhere, Karen and Foggy made Nadeem's video public – something Fisk was rattled to discover in the midst of his happiest moment, as he danced with Vanessa at their wedding reception.
When he comes to the conclusion that Fisk is losing his touch because of his love for Vanessa, Owlsley attempts to murder Vanessa by poisoning her. Vanessa survives the poison and Owlsley at first manages to avoid suspicion.
Under the orders of Murakami, Nobu Yoshioka acted as key representative for the Hand to Wilson Fisk's own criminal cartel, while pretending to be a Yakuza member.

Is Wilson Fisk autistic?
While it's debatable how much of Wilson Fisk's behavior is due to childhood trauma versus anything like autism, symptoms such as his difficulty with eye contact, preference for precise routine, and stilted speech patterns have led critics to interpret him as an autistic character.
Matt Murdock went to the Department along with Foggy Nelson and Karen Page. With Murdock and Nelson at his side, Hoffman began his testimony to all the people part of Fisk's operation. With the FBI having a list of nearly all of Fisk's employees involved in criminal activity, they performed a mass arrest.
William Lopez was a commander of the Tracksuit Mafia, the brother of Henry Lopez and the father of Maya Lopez. When Taloa Lopez died, William was disowned by his family and moved to New York. He was then murdered by Ronin acting on a tip from Kingpin.
Fisk soon realized that Page killed Wesley, which Page confirmed, brutally saying she shot him seven times and should have shot more but the clip ran out. Fisk then stood up in anger with all the intention to kill her, something that Page counted on to at least make Fisk pay for that.
Vanessa falls in love with Wilson Fisk, the crime boss of New York City, and they have a son together, Richard. While she is loyal to her family, she will also take vengeance upon them should they ever betray her.
She agreed and Poindexter explained that he had been following her because he wanted to act more like her. He asked for her help because he felt like he was drowning and needed someone to turn to.
The Assassination of Bill Fisk was Wilson Fisk's retaliation against his father following another fight between his parents, Bill and Marlene Fisk. When Bill began beating his wife, Wilson stepped in and smashed his father's head in with a hammer, killing him.
Most of Fisk's bulk is actually muscle, not fat; his enormous size is comparable to that of a sumo wrestler. Wilson Fisk is learned in several types of hand-to-hand combat, and uses his enormous bulk as a means of defense as much as attack.
Kingpin has a similar position in the comics, in which he's a major villain for both Daredevil and Spider-Man. Just like most Marvel characters, Wilson Fisk isn't all evil, and has had his more positive moments. However, that doesn't change the fact that he's done many awful things.
"If you're a fan of Kingpin and Daredevil - the old comics - you know that Kingpin never dies," he tells the site. "We just had to figure out a clever way of [moving] on from that shot towards the face and how we bring it into Echo, and we came up with a really cool thing. He does get hurt pretty bad."
Discovering that Marlene Vistain revealed incriminating information about Fisk to Ben Urich and his confidant Karen Page, Wesley secretly kidnapped Page to make her confess. However, Wesley's overconfidence contributed to his downfall, as Page was able to disarm Wesley and shoot him to death in order to escape.
Dex, who finally realized that Fisk manipulated him into doing all his dirty work, is after Fisk now. Dex is extra pissed becuase Fisk murdered Julie, who Dex believed was the "moral compass" who could help him through all his mental health issues.
After the Kingpin is killed by the Punisher in issue #21, Vanessa has his body cremated and flushes his ashes down a toilet. She appears ready to take charge of her husband's former empire, as her chauffeur calls her "Madam Kingpin", but in issue #22, she is ambushed and killed by Nick Fury.
At the end of the series, Sami finds out that Rambo, a thief who was in the park at the time of Joe's death, saw Maya shoot Joe. Maya had killed Joe after finding out the truth about Claire's death. She told her husband to meet her at their spot in the park, pressed him about what he did, then shot him.
How did Maya find out Joe killed Claire? Maya had discovered the bullet which took the life of sister Claire (Natalie Anderson) had come from the same gun only she and her husband had access to. And after confronting him in the park, she learned Joe would quite happily kill his own wife in cold blood, as well.
Echo concludes with a showdown between Maya and her surrogate father, Wilson “Kingpin” Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio), and instead of avenging her biological father's (Zahn McClarnon) murder, she used her powers to access the treacherous crime lord's mind in hopes of healing the childhood trauma that made him who he is today ...
Maya Lopez is a deaf member of the Choctaw tribe who moved out of her hometown as a child with her father William Lopez, and became the protegée of Wilson Fisk, growing up under his care. Losing her father due to Ronin's hunt for criminals, Lopez became the Tracksuit Mafia's commander, vowing revenge on Ronin.
Upon discovering that it was the Kingpin and not Daredevil who had killed her father, Maya shot Wilson Fisk in the face – just like what happened at the end of Hawkeye. In Marvel Comics, Fisk survived and became blind in both eyes. However, in the MCU, it seems like Kingpin will retain his vision.
