Dave Sheridan is an American actor, producer and writer. He played Special Officer Doofy in the comedy Scary Movie (2000) (a spoof of deputy sheriff Dewey Riley from Scream).
At the police station, Cindy and the sheriff discover the killer was Doofy and not David Keegan, the man whom Cindy and her friends accidentally killed a year earlier. He was faking his disability and has escaped with Gail Hailstorm after removing his disguise, similar to the ending of The Usual Suspects.
