Hardin was one of the most notorious gunslingers of the Wild West. He is said to have killed over 40 men, including his first victim at 15. He was known for his quick draw and his willingness to shoot first and ask questions later.
John Peters Ringo (May 3, 1850 – July 13, 1882), known as Johnny Ringo, was an American Old West outlaw loosely associated with the Cochise County Cowboys in frontier boomtown Tombstone, Arizona Territory. He took part in the Mason County War in Texas during which he committed his first murder.
Many infamous outlaws terrorized the Old West, gunslingers like Billy the Kid and John Wesley Hardin. But one name stands out as the most efficient, elusive killer of the bunch—Deacon Jim Miller. His dastardly deeds included the first documented murder on the South Plains.

The character engages in acts of heroism within an arid desert setting, usually against robbers, outlaws, bandits, or corrupt businessmen.
The official verdict was suicide, although Wyatt Earp later claimed to have done the deed. Some think some other shady character may have put an end to Ringo—he had plenty of enemies—while others, including the scriptwriters for Tombstone, imagine Doc was the killer.
