What wedding was Elsa and Anna's parents going to?
Writer and director of Frozen, Jennifer Lee, has confirmed in the past that the parents were indeed on their way to a wedding - Rapunzel and Flynn's wedding to be exact. And in a scene from the popular film, we see the newlyweds at Elsa's coronation.
During Elsa and Anna's journey, they learned that their parents' ill-fated trip was one to Ahtohallan in an attempt to find answers about Elsa's powers. The Water Spirit who guarded the sea opposed Elsa when she tried to reach Ahtohallan.
Where were Anna and Elsa parents going when they died?
Frozen explicitly shows the audience that Iduna and Agnarr's ship has sunk, killing both of the young princesses' parents. It's later revealed in Frozen 2 that the king and queen were traveling to Ahtohallan, a magical glacier in the north, and Frozen's sequel again confirms that Anna and Elsa's parents died at sea.

Not only is Anna marrying Kristoff, she has Olaf & Sven as well. We also saw at the end of Frozen 2 that their responsibilities are taking them somewhat of seperate ways, although not completely. It only makes sense that Elsa gains her own companion as well.

Is it true that Tarzan is Anna and Elsa's brother?
