When It shows the Losers all their worst fears, Beverly's is a bathroom covered in blood. Given that we have seen Beverly buying tampons in the previous scene, it's an obvious reference to the horrors and fears of puberty and being a teenage girl.
To put it bluntly, the blood Bev sees is period blood. She is afraid of going through puberty and becoming a woman. She fears this because of her abusive, misogynistic father and the fact that boys and men already sexualize her.
Muschietti — along with the film's former director and main screenwriter Cary Fukunaga, as well as several other writers — ties Beverly's anxiety about her own sexual maturation to her sexual assault at the hands of her father, and her fear of both these things to the bathroom itself.
The scene, which was later leaked before being removed from sight online, showed the monstrous clown taking a baby girl from her mother and devouring it in front of her face. Understandably, the scene didn't perform too well when it was shown to the studio, with it later being removed for being a little too graphic.
At the end of the day though, which is better is up to preferences. The original, while cheesy in some aspects, has the whole story. It shows the Losers club start the story and finish it, while the remake only covers half of it. But, the remake is way scarier than the original one.

This means Mrs. Kaspbrak has been faking all of Eddie's illnesses in order to have unlimited control over him. Even his asthma inhaler is a placebo or "gazeebo" as the 2017 version of Eddie so hilariously puts it.
After Bev is kidnapped by Pennywise and dragged down to his lair, the demonic, shape-shifting clown holds her up in the air by her neck and opens its jaw all the way back so she's forced to stare deep into its throat.
When 'It' unleashes the copious amounts of blood through the sink plug-hole, the thick red liquid spraying the walls of her bathroom encompasses her fears concerning womanhood and her father's inability to see it denotes his male obliviousness as well as the emotional distance between him and his daughter.
As was demonstrated in IT Chapter One, the pair were close in the book — with Richie even going on to kiss Eddie on the cheek following his sacrifice. However, there was nothing to imply that their dynamic was anything but a deep friendship.

As deep a connection as Bill and Beverly have, morally, it makes both of them look bad. While Bev was Bill's childhood crush, he's been happily married to wife Audra for many years and is back with her by the end of the story. Committing adultery isn't the best thing for the hero of a tale to do.
Anyone who read the book IT by Stephen King would know that Beverly Marsh's mother, Elfrida, passed away from cancer. However, in the 1990 miniseries and 2017 film, there is absolutely no mention of her mother.
There are various reasons why these scenes are deleted, which include time constraints, relevance, quality or a dropped story thread, and can also be due to budgetary concerns. A similar occurrence is offscreen, in which the events are unseen.
Late in the novel, after the young Losers vanquished Pennywise for the first time, each of the six boys has sex with Beverly Marsh as the others watch. The scene in the novel was explosive and, frankly, gross, although King maintains his intentions were honorable.
