He's letting them rescue Peeta. Because the Capitol has hijacked him: They've altered Peeta's memory and conditioned him to fear—and try to kill—Katniss. Snow knows that the thing Katniss loves most, Peeta, can destroy her, mentally and emotionally if not literally, if he never gets better.
Mockingjay. After the Quarter Quell, Katniss escapes to District 13 with other survivors and rebels, but Snow has captured Peeta and two other tributes. Snow is revealed to have been heavily influenced by the nihilistic and misanthropic ideologies of Dr. Gaul. He has no qualms about hurting or killing those he perceives as threats to his power, and is mentioned to have used poison on his political opponents.

The woods are now ruined. Katniss decides that the Capitol views her and Gale's weekly hunting trips — and the one time that Gale unexpectedly kissed her, which Snow knows about — as flaunting her defiance in front of the entire district.
Given that she is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect Peeta, it's safe to assume that the Morphling was committed to the rebel cause. we know he was injected with the tracker jacker serum and conditioned to fear katniss. under the influence of the serum, he was shown footage of her and probably the bombings in district 12 too, so he'd associate her with all these horrible things and believe she's the cause of them.
Snow laughs after Katniss killed Coin because he enjoys the irony of the situation. He avoided the official execution ceremony, even though Panem's citizens still take their revenge on him, while Katniss ends up snatching away the victory and power that Coin thinks she has successfully secured.
If Katniss chose to kill Snow instead, Coin would have still been as tyrannical as him and possibly even worse. Katniss herself realizes this and shoots Coin instead of Snow during his execution. Unlike the main villain Coriolanus Snow, she has no redeeming qualities, care for others, or tragedy.
It is likely that he is a relative of Hilarius Heavensbee. In the Mockingjay - Part 2, Plutarch appears to smile as he looks at Coin's dead body, suggesting that he approved of her death.
Johanna Mason was the axe wielding victor of the 71st Hunger Games from District 7. Snow would later orchestrate the slaughter of her entire family as punishment for her defiant nature.
Buttercup. Prim's cat, Buttercup, is a symbol of survival and a parallel to Katniss herself. Buttercup, though unfriendly, survives again and again, much like Katniss. He is not a particularly affectionate or attractive cat, but Prim loves and protects him, and that is enough to make Buttercup loyal and loving to Prim.

Chia Mags kisses Finnick on the mouth to briefly let him know that this is the last time she will see him. It's her way of saying "Goodbye" but in a more affectionate way.
The films, trying to be as faithful to the source material as possible, naturally had to include Finnick's death as well. From the start of the Hunger Games story, it was clear that Gale had feelings for his best friend, Katniss. However, Katniss was never able to explore the romantic side of her life as she was too busy providing for her family and then winning the 74th Hunger Games with Peeta.
