Tarzan has officially been kicked out of his treehouse at the Anaheim theme park, given the boot for a crafty family of explorers. The new residents move in Nov. 10, when the Adventureland Treehouse Inspired by Walt Disney's Swiss Family Robinson (yes, that's the full name) opens its doors to parkgoers.
In November 2019, a wooden plank of the bridge into Tarzan's Treehouse snapped prompting the attraction to close for a short period for repairs. In September 2021, the attraction closed for refurbishment, and demolition of the bridge and entrance tree began in April 2022.
Despite not appearing in House of Mouse, Tarzan was featured in some online games based on the television series. Due to legal issues with the family of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Tarzan is omitted from appearing in Disney media and games.

Disney's magnificent animated adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs's story of the ape man begins deep within the jungle when baby Tarzan is adopted by a family of gorillas. Even though he is shunned as a "hairless wonder" by their leader, Tarzan is accepted by the gorillas and raised as one of their own.
Licensing and Rights: The rights to Tarzan and related characters are not wholly owned by Disney. The character Tarzan is based on Edgar Rice Burroughs' literary works, and the rights to those works are held by the Burroughs estate.
