Hank Pym is best known in Marvel comics for being a wife beater. In one infamous scene, published in 1981 in The Avengers #213, a cowardly and pathetic Hank hits a negligee-clad Janet so hard that he knocks her off her feet.
In the 2015 film, Ant-Man, it was revealed that during a mission, Janet was forced to shrink between the molecules to stop a ballistic missile. While her action saved lives, it also caused her to be lost for decades. Hank went years believing she was dead while silently hoping that there was a chance to bring her back.
We met Janet van Dyne, Hope's mother and wife of Hank Pym, in ANT-MAN AND THE WASP. She is the primary source of information about the Quantum Realm, where she spent much of her life, and our understanding is that she plays a significant role in this new movie.
But, Marvel's editor-in-chief at the time, Jim Shooter, would later reveal that the slap was supposed to be an accident. Back in 2011, Shooter wrote that Pym wasn't supposed to intentionally hit Janet, but instead was supposed to accidentally strike her.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, it's sad to say, is not good. It is not good in many, many ways. The weirdly blank performances, the thunderingly dull fights, the nothingy plot: it is not good.

In an interview, Michael Douglas, who plays Hank Pym, agreed that the initial tone of Hank and Scott's relationship was negative. This was because of Scott's decision to assist Steve Rogers in Captain America: Civil War without the consent of Hank and his daughter Hope.
Eventually, Captain America defeats Kang before Ravonna uses his time crystal to regress him to an infant. In the post-credits, an elderly Kang joins Ravonna, Cosmo the Spacedog, Man-Thing, and the Supreme Intelligence in warning Captain America, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man of a new threat.
Cassie's Mom & Stepdad Could Have Also Been Snapped By Thanos. One Avengers: Endgame theory suggests that Cassie Lang's mom and stepdad were snapped by Thanos. Maggie Lang (Judy Greer) and Jim Paxton (Bobby Cannavale) have minor roles in the first two Ant-Man movies, but they are not featured in Avengers: Endgame.
The Avengers succeed in obtaining the Infinity Stones from alternate timelines and they restore the trillions of lost lives. Scott then participates in the final and victorious battle against Thanos. Scott reunites with his girlfriend Hope van Dyne and daughter Cassie, while also writing a memoir of his life.
Ant-Man, also known as Scott Lang, is a superhero in the MCU who can shrink to the size of an ant while still retaining his normal strength and durability by harnessing the power of Pym Particles. This ability is derived from a special suit created by Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man.
And the story is not even that good. You can feel the lack of great characters from previous movies. They were setting the tone of story and we don't even know what happened to them after previous movie. It's hard to believe that the director is the same person who made two prior movies.
Darren Agonistes Cross is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Not only did the third installment in the Ant-Man franchise reject the same light tone of its predecessors, but the narrative was jumbled, its CGI was some of Marvel's dodgiest in years, and it somehow managed to waste one of the studio's most charming talents, Paul Rudd.
