He refused to support Peacemaker's mission upon learning that they were the ones who framed him for murder and sent him to prison. Upon being released from prison, his first decision was to kill his own son. It is implied that Auggie was a ruthless murderer during his younger years as the White Dragon.
Peacemaker acknowledges that his father is not really there and that he is metaphorically being haunted from beyond the grave. While the return of White Dragon as a ghost might seem like a strange choice, it ties into Peacemaker's original comic narrative.

Among other things, the series has shed light on Peacemaker's complicated relationship with a violent white supremacist father (Robert Patrick), as well as depicted Peacemaker expressing some major self-loathing over the death of Flag.
Other Characteristics. Mental Disorder: Peacemaker suffered from bipolar disorder and possibly schizophrenia, believing that the souls of people he killed inhabited his helmet and spoke to him. He was also plagued by hallucinations of his dead father egging him on to violence.
Vigilante pounces on Auggie and short-circuits his suit. In doing so, Peacemaker turns his attention to his father and punches him numerous times, calling him out for his hostile attitude in the past. As Auggie antagonizes him, Peacemaker grabs a gun and shoots his dad in the head.
This positive side of himself is one that he has been trying to find and express, but he has consistently pushed people away. The fact that Goff was able to see that in him was too valuable to lose, so he made sure to not kill the Butterfly herself.
Ultimately, John Cena's Peacemaker decided to stop the Butterflies from escaping to continue their "improval" of Earth, not because he didn't want to surrender his "proto-fascist libertarianism", but because he knew his friends would be hurt if he helped the aliens.
White Dragon is a legacy name used by super-villains, traditionally associated with white supremacy. The name is taken as a reference to the Ku Klux Klan. Daniel Ducannon, an enemy of Hawkman, was the original Dragon, a Neo-Nazi in a powerful suit of armor which focused his fire powers.
Peacemaker ends up keeping the butterfly that invaded the senator's body in a jar to interrogate it later and find out what it's really after. Named "Goff" after the senator it occupied, Peacemaker instructs the butterfly to knock once for "yes" and twice for "no" in response to his questions.
The Butterfly leader known as Goff (Annie Chang) pleads with Peacemaker to spare the cow because, in a surprise twist, the Butterflies don't want to conquer the world like your typical evil aliens, they want to help save the people of Earth from themselves so our planet doesn't perish like the Butterflies' planet did.
While Bloodsport did win over Peacemaker in their standoff, it's interesting to note that he won because of Peacemaker's advice. Smaller bullets mean it goes through big bullets, hitting his target even better. Though evenly matched, Bloodsport was more prepared and much less injured in their duel.
Peacemaker plays a part in the Janus Directive and battles the Adrian Chase / Vigilante. Although he is seen as a helpful ally, some of the other heroes think that he is too extreme to be helping them out. He eventually crashes a helicopter to destroy tanks controlled by the supervillain Eclipso and is reported dead.
James Gunn defends Peacemaker's decision to kill Rick Flag in The Suicide Squad, with him feeling remorse for his actions in the Peacemaker TV series. Written and directed by Gunn, The Suicide Squad is a standalone soft reboot of the critically divisive Suicide Squad movie from 2016, directed by David Ayer.
Another male character Peacemaker has significant interaction with is Vigilante (Freddie Stroma). Though Peacemaker does not show romantic interest in Vigilante, the two did have a ménage à trois with a woman in Episode 1.

While Eagly was a CGI creation in Peacemaker, Gunn previously revealed that they tried to use a real eagle at first and based the bird on it. However, the eagle wasn't happy during filming, and Gunn opted to use a CGI recreation for the series instead as Gunn didn't want to upset the animal.
