Based on a novel by Polish author Blanka Lipińska, The Next 365 Days sees Anna-Maria Sieklucka reprise her role as Laura, who begins the film having once again inexplicably survived a near-death experience with no real sign of injury or trauma.
365 DAYS 2 PLOT: Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) survived the tunnel attack at the end of the first movie, but she lost her unborn baby. Her mob-boss-kidnapper-turned-fiancé Massimo (Michele Morrone) doesn't know that Laura was ever pregnant. The two get married and have a lot of sex on their honeymoon.
Principal photography began in May 2021, in areas around Italy and Poland, with Anna-Maria Sieklucka and Magdalena Lamparska reprising their roles from the first film.

At the end of the new film, new cast member Nacho and Massimo shoot at Adriano and Anna which leads to Laura getting hit by a bullet. Laura is left bleeding out as the film comes to a close. Plot. Massimo visits the grave of his twin brother, Adriano, who was killed during the events of the previous film. He then checks on Laura, who survived and is healing from Adriano's attack.
Massimo is angry after the death of his brother and tells his rivals to leave. Adriano is dead while Laura is alive. In fact, Laura has fully recovered from her gunshot wound last movie, and beyond a few mentions it's never brought up again.
In the books, Massimo is an absolute villain and much worse than the character in the films. Laura eventually ends up divorcing him. It's revealed that Laura ended up with Nacho after escaping another abusive situation that ends up with Massimo drugging her and trying to get her pregnant.
When Laura discovers Massimo is the one who killed her dog, it is not long before she seduces him, escapes, and runs off with Nacho. Surprisingly, Massimo then assents to divorce, meaning Laura and Nacho end up living happily ever after and the unhinged mob boss simply accepts that his former paramour is gone for good.
A Mexican standoff ensues with Adriano holding Laura hostage, as well as taunting his brother about Laura's miscarriage. Before Massimo can deal with that revelation though, Laura tries to break free and is shot by Anna, who is shot by Nacho in turn.
