This didn't come as a surprise to Marvel comic fans, since Cap has proved on multiple occasions to be worthy of the power of the God of Thunder, as he's perhaps the most famous hero who is worthy of Mjolnir who isn't Thor himself.
In fact, Zeus vs Thor probably wouldn't be much of a fight at all—Thanos, who knows a little bit about power himself, placed the Greek Skyfather at the same level as Galactus, who coincidentally enough Zeus has beaten. Super strength, super speed, and super durability make up all of the requisites of being a super god.
Despite Thunderbolt being a stronger weapon than Mjolnir, and even Stormbreaker, the Infinity Gauntlet is still the most powerful weapon in the MCU, at least when powered by the Infinity Stones. The Infinity Stones on their own are some of the most powerful artifacts in the universe.
So while Zeus' best feat is defeating a mountain-sized monster, Odin's best feat is defeating a monster as big as nine worlds. Odin outclasses Zeus in intelligence, versatility, strength, and weapons. Zeus simply can't compete. The winner is Odin, All-Father of the Æsir.
Odin would beat thor a hundred times before it ever came down to a fight, but if it ever somehow came down to a legit fight, thor would beat his old man.
Based on this we can deduce Kronos, Hyperion, Oceanos (even though he didn't partake in this war) and the other elder Titans were more powerful than Zeus.
Odin has pretty clearly been shown to be demonstrable more powerful than the other gods. Odin's Odinforce has far outstripped anything Zeus's magical lightning bolts have ever done.
The Master Bolt Bolt is powerful enough to end the existence of an immortal being, like a god. It is apparently so powerful that when Zeus hurled it at Typhon, the blast was said to be enough to have made entire oceans evaporate, the sky to be set ablaze and even knock the Father of all Monsters off balance.
Mjolnir, Thor's primary weapon, is the most easily recognized symbol of the thundering hero. Bestowed with a blessed enchantment, this hammer can only be picked up by those who have been proven worthy of its immense power.
As Skyfather of Olympus, Zeus wields power comparable to Odin, whose wrath Thanos has withstood but not bested. At the same time, Zeus cannot truly die. While the most powerful of Olympians can be badly wounded or even dismembered, he can never actually pass on into oblivion.
Portrayed by Anthony Hopkins, Odin is the powerful ruler of the Nine Realms who has sworn to protect every kingdom under his rule. With Odin still ruling Asgard, Thanos would have easily been stopped had he made a play for the Infinity Gauntlet.
Following Thor: Love and Thunder, it's very easy to say that Thor is close to being as powerful as Odin, if not even more powerful. While Odin wasn't very active in the MCU, he was still regarded as one of the most powerful characters in the MCU, if only because he had long since had that status in the comics.
While no one besides Thor has been able to truly wield the awesome might of Stormbreaker, Groot was the very first being to hold this weapon when one of his arms became the handle for the mighty axe.
In the end, Deadpool wasn't worthy. While he seemingly had control of Mjolnir and the strength of Thor, it was all a mirage put on by Loki to distract Thor.
Clearly, Thanos is aware he wouldn't be able to lift it. Although it's hard to pinpoint what exactly makes someone worthy of using Mjolnir, as it's ultimately determined by Odin, who placed the enchantment on the hammer, some believe one's worthiness is measured by traits like courage, honor, and selflessness.
Zeus was regarded as the sender of thunder and lightning, rain, and winds, and his traditional weapon was the thunderbolt. He was called the father (i.e., the ruler and protector) of both gods and men.
The Lightning Bolt is the most powerful weapon with the ability to end someone's existence, or banish them to another realm or to Tartarus and it is owned by Zeus, the ruler of Mount Olympus.
While it's never shown bringing down as much devastation in a single blow as Stormbreaker or Mjolnir, Thunderbolt is a far faster weapon, with Thor being able to keep up with the slippery Gorr thanks to the blade, as earlier in the film, Stormbreaker proved too bulky to land a clean hit on the villain.
The Olympian and the Asgardian are evenly matched in terms of both strength and durability. For comparison, both Thor and Hercules' durability and raw power pale in comparison to the likes of Zeus - a low-key but crucial Thor: Love and Thunder spoiler for any future outings of the Olympians.
Chronologically speaking, most scholars contest that Odin was created before Zeus . The earliest evidence for worship of Zeus goes back before 500 BCE, but Odin is attested by various Germanic tribes as far back as the 12th century BCE.
He punches Hulk so hard that he can't stop vomiting, as the Olympian shatters his rib cage and causes his lungs to collapse. Zeus ends up knocking out the Hulk and leaving him in rough shape, chaining him up to be picked on by giants vultures after his defeat.
