But as amazing as the original films are, both trilogies ended with bad movies. Jurassic Park 3 strayed away from InGen and focused on a lost child on the island and his family's attempt to save him. Outside of Dr. Grant's inclusion, this added nothing to the series.
No. Well, if the fight was situated on land, that is. However, if the fight was set in water for example, then the Spino would have a clear advantage over Rex as it is more streamlined and can maneuver far better in water despite being heavier than the Tyrannosaurus.
In a cage match, T. rex has several adaptations that might give it an edge over Giganotosaurus. But don't place your bets yet. The bigger dinosaur could leverage its skill at hunting massive sauropods to take down a smaller-than-usual foe.
If O. megalodon and T. rex were to somehow meet after the shark threw itself onto the land, then it doesn't seem like the dinosaur would stand a chance. The aquatic beast is bigger than it in every dimension, and more than capable of crunching through tough bones.
Jurassic World may have been originally imagined as a trilogy, but the franchise isn't extinct yet. A fourth film in the sequel series to Jurassic Park has been green-lit ahead of a summer 2025 release. It will be the seventh blockbuster in the franchise overall, and the first since 2022's Jurassic World: Dominion.
