Mystique has also been the mother of three known children. She is the biological mother of both Nightcrawler and Graydon Creed, whose father was the mutant Sabretooth.
Not long after, she is approached by Mystique, who seeks her out on the advice of her precognitive partner Destiny. Mystique ultimately takes Rogue in as a daughter.
Azazel quickly overpowers the team and obliges the request because of the ties Mystique has with both him and Sabretooth, as she is the mother of the sons of both men (Azazel is the father of her son Nightcrawler, and Sabretooth is the father of her son Graydon Creed).
According to Comic Vine, Mystique has three children, Graydon Creed, Rogue, and Nightcrawler, and I don't know about all of you, but I find that the side Mystique shows to her children is sort of sweet in a way, because it adds to her character, showing that she is more than some villain.
However, Azazel was deeply and fanatically loyal to Lucifer, his father/creator, and views him as his god. He has noted that he lives to serve Lucifer and is loyal only to him.

Mystique is often shown wearing an ominous belt of skulls around her waist, an indication of her aptitude for violence, and Brooks' Edwardian adaptation replaces Raven's skull belt with a skull-buttoned blouse, the perfect detail to show that Mystique has the same presence in any era.

Very little is known about the early life of Graydon Creed, except that during the Cold War he was born to two mutant terrorists, Mystique and Sabretooth. Growing up Creed was abandoned by his mother when she discovered he was not a mutant, and she sent him to live in an orphanage.
Together, the two later raised adopted daughter Rogue in their home in fictional Caldecott County, Mississippi. They remained together until Destiny's death.
