Cressida is a talented director with a keen eye for useful footage. Her desire to film Katniss in action is so great that she lies about Katniss's plan to kill Coriolanus Snow in the hopes that Katniss will act heroically on camera.
Cressida was told by Plutarch Heavensbee to follow Katniss Everdeen throughout her journeys in the rebellion so they could make numerous propos across Panem in order to encourage strength and morale in the rebels.
Such encouragement is what Katniss needs as she continues her development as the Mockingjay. When Boggs tells her not to trust “them,” he is possibly referring to Coin, who Boggs has already said is afraid of Katniss because Katniss hasn't given Coin a full-hearted endorsement.
Black, oily matter spouts like a geyser from the street, billowing between the buildings, creating an impenetrable wall of darkness. It seems to be neither liquid nor gas, mechanical nor natural. So it's a tarlike substance designed to drown people.
In the beginning, Katniss did love Gale. But around the middleish/ending of the story, she finds herself loving Peeta instead. The main reason, though: Gale and Coin were designing a bomb, and Prim was killed by the bomb. After she died, Gale realized it was over with KAtniss.

How was Gale responsible for Prim's death?
Prim was among the medics who arrived to treat the victims. Unfortunately, a second batch of bombs were set off, with Prim being killed in the explosions. Gale was not the one to drop the bombs from the hovercraft, but he was one of the key figures to devise the strategy of double bombings.
Although she will never know for sure, Katniss does recognize that she cannot be with Gale. She will never be able to forgive him for his idea — the parachute bombs — that killed Prim.
I went on the CGI diet, computer-generated images. They just sucked my face down in post-production. There you have it, folks. With the move of a mouse and a stylus, our Peeta was shrunk down via computer cleanse, not juice cleanse.
He is motivated by the power he holds over his subjects in Panem, ruling with cunning, treachery, and vindictiveness. Even his appearance is spoiled by the blood that runs out of his mouth from the sores caused by poison he took to make himself appear innocent while poisoning others on his road to absolute power.
Katniss asks Haymitch for advice, and his response is, “Stay alive.” Then he laughs. Peeta responds aggressively, knocking the glass out of Haymitch's hand, and Haymitch responds by punching Peeta in the jaw.
Before he rescued Peeta, Katniss saw Finnick as a threat and someone she will eventually have to kill. However, she admits she will never be able to kill him because he saved Peeta. She won't be able to look past the debt she owes him for saving Peeta's life.
Later, the two learn President Snow considered their actions to be an act of rebellion against the Capitol. After their last interview, in which the two continue to affect their romantic feelings for one another, Peeta comes to the realization Katniss has staged her love for him all along.
Why does snow not like Katniss? She sparked rebellion against the system he was a part of, and in control of. She made the Captiol look very bad, as a result of the Gamemakers begging her and Peeta to stop trying to eat the berries.
Cressida, along with Katniss, Pollux, Gale, and Peeta, was one of the only soldiers under Katniss' batallion to survive the Mockingjay Rebellion. Cressida is additionally the only technical former Capitol citizen to survive.
Katniss feels betrayed, most of all by Haymitch, who used her and Peeta. Eventually she wakes to find Gale there. He's badly injured and tells her the Capitol bombed District 12 after the Games. He got Prim and Katniss's mother out in time, but the District 12 is gone.
He was obviously a big part of the rebel plan to keep Katniss alive long enough to be rescued from the arena. As head Gamemaker, he presumably had substantial control over when and how pods and mutts were activated.
She was also against the games itself, whilst Snow believed the Districts were below him and continued working to implement new aspects of the games. Their relationship was so undesirable that Snow fired Tigris as a stylist personally.
Finnick learned many secrets, including that Snow, in his rise to power, poisoned his adversaries but to divert suspicion often drank from the same poisoned cup followed by an antidote that only Snow used. Segments of the propo of Katniss and Finnick are aired.
Lucy Gray Baird wins The Hunger Games, and Coriolanus is caught for having cheated by giving Lucy Gray a compact full of rat poison to use in the arena and for using a handkerchief with her tears on it to train Dr. Gaul's rainbow snakes from killing her.
Given that she is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect Peeta, it's safe to assume that the Morphling was committed to the rebel cause. Like the other victors, she knows the power that Katniss has as a lightning rod for the rebellion, and she knows that Katniss will not help without Peeta.
As she approaches him, Peeta wraps his hands around her neck and throws Katniss around the room. He begins to strangle her, nearly killing her. He is wild, unable to be stopped, at least until Boggs knocks him out with a metal tray.
For Peeta to look like he was tortured, many think he went on an extreme diet. But in reality, they used CGI to slim his face and make him look abused and beaten.
Gale does not marry anyone in The Hunger Games. He and Katniss talk about running away together and starting a new life in the wilderness, but they never officially marry.
Katniss speculates that Coin deliberately sent Prim to die in the Capitol bombing in order to fully gain her trust, but it's never outright confirmed or denied.
It took time for Peeta to break out of that conditioning, and even when the possibility existed that Peeta could be a danger to Katniss, the two of them still elected to be together and build a future in a post-Hunger-Games world. Their love for one another is evident.
