It appears that The Boy is another horror movie about an evil doll. However, in a twist, Brahms is still alive and hiding in the house's walls, pretending that the doll is possessed to remain hidden and safe. The twist makes the story scarier and makes Brahms a frightening villain.

Somehow “Brahms: The Boy II” manages to at least look better than its predecessor. Everything else works as needlessly as the lengthy title. It is indeed a sequel of sorts to 2016's bizarre and wacky “The Boy,” where a porcelain doll in a suit tormented its babysitter.
The content is dark, with mental illness, suicide, and dark spirituality, as well as portrayals of violence, sometimes with children. Brahms: The Boy II is Not Dove-approved. The Dove Take: Horror sequel is a lackluster lullaby filled with dark content and violence.

That announcement was made 18 months after Amazon confirmed it had renewed The Boys for a fourth season. With its release date fast approaching, it's good to know that production has fully wrapped on the show's next installment (as confirmed by showrunner Eric Kripke on X/Twitter).
